With the Bills brining the Dolphins down to earth before the half -- thanks to some early game gifts by the Fins, might as well start this thread. Hopefully it can be a bounce back game for the Dolphins.

Mark Walton cut by the Dolphins after another arrest for striking a pregnant woman. The woman claims he is the father.

Obviously, due to his prior arrest and terms of that case, extended jail time is coming for Walton - his time with the Dolphins is done , and more than likely - he is done in the NFL all together.

What a waste of his talent. The Fins had given him a chance.

On a different note: I would like to see Rosen get some starts. We know that Fitzpatrick can be a solid backup but isn't the future of the team.

Cleveland with the 7-0 lead with 959 to go in the first - after the Dolphins win the coin toss but GIFT AND GIVE another opponent first possession - only to see their defense put little to no resistance.

This approach needs to end - especially if you are going to preach valuing time of possession - and possessing the ball as a whole.

On the first offensive drive for the Dolphins, an absolute disaster already.

Once again, they start the drive with a pass - a behind the LOS one at that -- which obviously goes nowhere. On second down, Fitzpatrick, as usual - tries to do too much and comes up empty. Drive is dead.

Lets see how long the Fins can keep themselves in a game that should be winnable -- but maybe Fitzpatrick has other ideas.

So far, in what is a bad season , in this game - the Fins have found a way to regress. The approach from the start was once again wrong -- and its had the obvious result to this point. Hopefully they can find a pulse at some point in this game.

More importantly, hopefully Rosen finally gets his chance to showcase himself -- Fitzpatrick is just once again holding this team back so far in this game. Far too reckless.

And now a beyond stupid fake punt run and it goes nowhere.

Maybe Flores wants to be fired? Its as though Fitzpatrick is the OC. Rather than make the smart, high percentage play call -- they go for the unnecessary, senseless, aggressive play call that goes absolutely nowhere -- every time.

Maybe the Dolphins need to run more wildcat and honor Sparano -- anything to keep the ball and the decision making out of the hands of Fitzpatrick seems like the best idea.

Rosen time should have been weeks ago. See what you have Flores...

Like 11-12 weeks ago.

On a brighter note, the Bengals are still winless and on the verge of clinching that first pick in the draft.

The Jets and the Redskins won today. It's a good day for the Fins draft order.

I'm 99.99% sure they will go QB, I'm expecting Burrow. They really don't have any possible wins on schedule. If they had Miami at home that would be possible, but don't think they will win in Miami

I read an interesting article in Dolphinwire about Rosen. It makes sense that playing Fitzpatrick is benefiting Rosen now. He is a pocket passer and needs better blocking. The Fins will have options next year. They can build a good oline and see if he can become a playmaker or they can trade him. It wouldn't have went well with him starting. I wouldn't mind if the team gets the highest draft pick possible. That could still happen with Fitzpatrick starting. On a positive note offensive players like Parker and Gesicki and other players have been developing better with Fitzpatrick leading the offense.

I can see that angle especially if they think he'd get killed back there this season. I still wouldn't mind seeing him in there as the oline isn't as bad as the first few weeks although it has regressed the past two weeks. Tough call.
