Ok, here's my attempt.

Verbs can have both tenses and moods.

The phrase after "even if" is subjunctive mood.

The tense is future conditional.

And, if you read the quote below, you believe in the Magic Phrase in every tense. You just have to publicly state it in this thread after big wins. All of the remaining games that the Jazz play in this season qualify as big wins. So I'll just patiently wait for you to say it, after one of them.

Preferably after more than one of them.

Also, I know that you strongly believe that the Jazz Are The Best Team In Sports, in every tense possible across every spoken, written, non-verbal, and ESP language, in our solar system.

So, I'm not sure if the game last Saturday belongs in this thread.

The Jazz let the game get close.

While it's good they pulled away, I have higher expectations for the Jazz.

They should have a few near wire to wire wins (lead for 90% minutes or more), and road blowout wins.

That's the kind of game I was expecting, and that's what SHOULD get mentioned in this thread.

A few corrections to this post. I meant that when you say the Magic Words, I'd want you to really mean it again. Emphasis on the last part, since you've already said them once, so it wouldn't be your first time saying them.

I see these kind of quotes often whenever a team with expectations has a bad loss.

I don't know if I agree with the assessment yet. Tomorrow and Sunday April 2nd are the last 2 national TV games before the playoffs, so we'll see what I think then.
