What tense is "even if"?See, you did say the magic phrase. And of course your unwavering believe in the past tense, "were", is applied to your steadfast belief in the present tense, "are".

John Stockton would have said the magic phrase if Sloan told him to say it, after good wins.
Good post.Just in case it wasn't obvious, this was released on April 1st for a reason...
Ok, here's my attempt. What tense is "even if"?
Also, I know that you strongly believe that the Jazz Are The Best Team In Sports, in every tense possible across every spoken, written, non-verbal, and ESP language, in our solar system.
I'd normally "like" your above post, but then I think you would take that as me saying those words. Nope. Notwithstanding whatever you may try to twist my actions or words, I will not say those words right now. (Umm, I actually did literally say "those words right now" but I did not those words out, you know?)
Can you passionately please post what words you're not supposed to say?
I need to make sure I understand what you think you don't want to say.

I'm not the best attorney out there, but I'm not going to fall for that.![]()
Liking a post wouldn't mean as much to me as you actually saying it. So I wouldn't want you to just "like" it after all these years. I'd want you to really say it and feel it.
Well, I wouldn't want to trick you into saying it anyways. I'd want you to really mean it and think it and smell the victory from the paths of glory.
A few corrections to this post. I meant that when you say the Magic Words, I'd want you to really mean it again. Emphasis on the last part, since you've already said them once, so it wouldn't be your first time saying them.
If I didn't add this clarification, then someone might be confused and think you'd be saying the words for the first time, when you do say them.
