Meyer is getting screwed

Since it seems posting something 99 times isn't enough, why not, I'll go for 100 (pages and repeat posts).

The report coming from this investigation will be our best jump in point to clarity and our best opportunity at finding most of the truth of all of the insanity surrounding this thing.

I may not believe there was lying/fabricating, by McMurphy, Snook, Meyer, or anyone else outside of Courtney, but that doesn't mean I haven't left room that it may turn out that way. "not believe" to me doesn't mean "can't exist". It is a term of which way I would lean based off logic or the easiest answer. And nothing more.

I also think it more likely Courtney manipulated McMurphy with a vindictive plan of retribution. Said that before Snook's hit piece from the mom's, and that certainly added fuel to the fire. Again, also possible (I.E. I haven't said it is 100% fact ffs) others are wrong and she is more victim than lover scorned. Neither has been fully proven, but I'd lean toward her pushing this well beyond facts at this point.

The easiest answer given what is out there is McMurphy built a story around his 3 days of interviews with Courtney and used her uncorroborated 'documents' (i.e. texts and other material she provided) as the only proof of her story he needed before going live with it. He has said he was in a rush to release it as he felt others were working on it and he wanted the scoop. That's dangerous in reporting and it's highly probable in my mind that is where things went off the rails here.

The most probable thing IMO is Meyer didn't cover up, nor protect this coach. If Courtney is as bad as their parents suggest, it is easy to believe the staff at the school knew she was out of control.

I doubt the police covered anything up or made things go away to protect OSU. It just feels more like incompetency, however cover up is still certainly possible.

I expect the most likely outcome to be Meyer going free and being cleared. For whatever reason, those looking to put words in my mouth and claiming I'm fully in on McMurphy fail to bring up how many times I've said I expect Meyer to be cleared. I'm still leaving room he might have done something and is about to be fired, I just find that least likely based on the simplest path in this thing.

He's still on paid leave. The McMurphy report suggested it all happened but nobody knew about it, suggesting a coverup. Regardless of his responses, they're doing an investigation with him on leave.

You don't believe anyone outside of the hoop has EVER questioned even if Meyer was hiding something, covering up something, etc after his media day responses?

I mean I doubt any of that happened, but he left serious room for those questions with that performance.

Hell, Mullen has been there for a few months and he already has half a dozen dudes being investigated for an armed altercation and kids getting discounted rental cars. Then you should probably read something other that OSU blogs. That's how it works with reporters. They catch you in a lie and they start asking even more questions because they figure there are other lies to uncover.
