Damn... I had something similar happen almost 2 years ago to my infant. He had a real raspy/mucousy breathing going on. We took him to the ER fearing pneumonia but luckily we caught it in time and it was only diagnosed as bronchiolitis. Said the infection hadn't gotten down into his lungs yet so we were lucky. I think we only had to do the breathing treatment.He was diagnosed with pneumonia earlier today and was having difficulty breathing. They gave him a breathing treatment and a concentrated dose of steroids. Should be ok to get to the meds presribed earlier. By the time we got the diagnosis every pharmacy our insurance covered was closed
