Well @TREFF, I thought I started Fuller in Suicide, accidentally left Watkins in and he outscored him. Had I remembered I sat Fuller, I was gonna put him in fer Watkins and leave ARob in as I thought fer sure he would go..........so it actually worked out best fer me.................lol. I have King Josh going in 3 of 4 leagues tonight.................should be 4 of 4.......I hate you.

So, I haven't posted much about my Redskins this year. While I should be excited about the 5-2 division leading start, I can't help but see the glaring negative.

-The defense has been absolutely outstanding. Top 5 unit in the NFL, IMO.
-The addition of AP finally provides a much needed running game
-the Oline has been pretty good too

So why am I less than thrilled?

Because Alex Smith is not good. He can't throw the ball downfield unless he has an embarrassment of receiving weapons, which he does not. And we forced Cousins out of town for absolutely no good reason.

Replace Smith with Cousins and Fuller, who would bolster an already stout defense, and the Skins would be a legit super bowl contender. As is, we can't truly challenge the elite teams. And I am bummed because the pieces were all here, ready to be put in place.

I'm probably dropping Reed this week. I'm sure he'll be a top three TE, ROS.

I know it's extra frustrating to know that you actually had the right pieces and they let them go. I know they weren't exactly the greatest, but losing Desean Jackson and Pierre Garcon didn't help either. Crowder hasn't been very good and Josh Doctson is worse. Richardson has been okay and hopefully now that Chris Thompson is healthy that he will help a lot in the passing game. I really think that Jordan Reed has been the big disappointment. I mean he's been healthy for the whole year, but he just can't get it going. And with the connection that Alex Smith has always had with his tight ends I know that most people thought if he could stay healthy that Reed would have a big year. Part of that is like you said that Smith isn't throwing the ball down field, but I think some of that is the play calling. I am a huge Jay Gruden fan (he quarterbacked and coached our local arena football team the Orlando Predators for years and we had season tickets so we actually got to meet him several times) but it seems like he has just decided that they are just going to win with defense and the running game and as long as that keeps working he has no desire to push the ball down field. I get it to an extent, but like you said, you can't beat the elite teams that way, you are going to have to score some points in the passing game.

@Bandit how do you feel about the Kamara/Ingram situation after the last 2 weeks? I assume much better than you did after the MNF game vs Washington

@Sam Sportboy

You have probably heard by now, but your boy, King Josh has been benched for the first half because he was tardy twice during the week. And NE is on the market for WRs.

Some things never change. Gordon is such a knuckle head.

Better, yes. Happy I used the #6 pick on him, no. He's still not getting #6 pick usage. I wish I would have drafted Melvin Gordon instead.

Well,

They are apparently seeking WRs via trade. If they land Thomas or Tate, it could be possible that Gordon gets cut. Pure speculation by me, but I wouldn't be shocked.

I would have told you to go with Gordon if you asked me.

Season tickets to Arena football. In 2005 I was watching an Arena Football game and they popped up an ad for the Arena Bowl. $1000 for tickets hotel and flight is what it cost me for both of us, so we went two years in a row. There were a number of ex NFL stars I got to meet there and sadly for you the second one we went to saw the Predators lose to the Mike Ditka owned Chicago Rush.

Damn, I went from the most points in both leagues last week to not even being able to field a full team this week with the bye weeks and Fuller's injury.

Beckham is on the block.

Best RB offer may come out of it with a discount.

Unless someone wants to give me a top RB for OBJ and Diggs.

Tick tock

Bar and I traded WR.
He gets Julio and Lockett.
I get Cooks and Tate.
And now Tate drops into further ambiguity as an Eagle.
My KOTF team us doing all it can to make me miserable.

I dunno, does he? Jeffrey is nice, but he's not what he was in Chic. Tate immediately replaces and upgrades Agholor. Personally I think he becomes Wentz #1 within a couple weeks, even if by some miracle Jeffrey is still standing by then

If you mean Tate will be the #2 behind Ertz,

Then I can totally see that happening.
