1) that was against me. :rip: you're dead to me.
2) DST record still has to be 06 Bears. There were a couple games they had multiple scores on defense, and I'm sure Hester added a special teams TD.

So I googled it and found this article where a guy actually went back to 1940 to calculate the D/ST scores, but there are no points for yards against, only points against, so it would of course vary some depending on your scoring, but he also includes a link to the box scores so you can calculate it yourself with your scoring. And considering the #1 team (Cleveland against Pittsburgh in week 1 with perfect weather!!) had 5 fumble recoveries, 3 interceptions, 6 sacks, 3 touchdowns, pitched a shutout, and allowed 53 total yards (Yes 53) I'm thinking it would have been a monster game no matter your scoring. In fact I'll calculate it using MBBRL scoring it would be 6 sacks (6) + 5 fumble recoveries (10) + 3 interceptions (6) + 3 touchdowns (18) + 0 points allowed (8) + 53 total yards (12) = 60 freaking points.

Here's the link to the article which was written in 2012 so there of course wouldn't be games after that included.

I just screwed myself. Traded Hyde cause I seen he was getting phased out, but wanted to wait until next week to grab Chubb. Hyde gets traded while I’m at work and of course Chubb gets snapped up.:mad2:

I'm actually shocked by how little Chubb was available anyway. Of the 10 leagues I'm in, he was only available in 1 of them. In every other league he was already rostered. 3 of them are dynasty, which is understandable, but in every other league but one of them he was already owned before this week. I guess people must have picked him up after the three carry/two touchdown game and held onto him. Well done for them if that's the case.

I have him in 1 dynasty and picked him up in my Yahoo league. The rest of them which are mainly MBBRL leagues I figured he was gone already.

On a MUCH lower note, with Lynch out - who's the pick up there ? I know Gurden loves Martin but I have a hard time thinking he'll be, as good, or better, than Lynch. Thinking they play from behind a lot more and it's Richards who holds more value. ... albeit, for what it's worth. ....

Oakland is the new Cleveland.
Is anyone on that team worth owning?
No yards.
No TDs.
It's a fantasy football wasteland

Oh no doubt. .... but even bad teams offer something of value even if it's not much. ... Duke was always useful in the old CLE days.

Agreed.
But Gruden has pulled off the impossible IMO. He's found a way to make every player irrelevant.

You traded Hyde to me. My plan was to grab Chubb once you accepted the trade but I didn't act right away to grab him.:gaah:

I was able to grab Chubb in one of my 8 leagues.

Maybe this is stating the obvious, but the Hyde trade improves the value of Duke Johnson as well.
He was available in KOTF.

I had actually hit claim for him, but didn’t want to drop Ridley so cancelled the claim.:L Too many can’t drop types on my bench this week.

Duke Johnson is the one you go after in a PPR to me, but Chubb will be the main one carrying the ball. The real question to me is can Chubb's body hold up when he is the main back on a NFL team?

Yes, this will vastly improve our RB2 situation in Monkey's dynasty league where we have Duke, so thank you Cleveland.

personally ain't banking on Duke gaining much value. If they wanted him in there more often, he'd have been in there more often. Maybe an average bump of 2-4 touches a game, imho

Well yeah, but when you're only averaging 6 touches a game now, 3 more is a 50% increase!! Also I think you're seriously underestimating just how bad our RB2 is in that league. Our other best options are Theo Riddick and Alfred Blue. LOL.
