I'm a little skeptical of the Barber love. I believe he was the only back with a certain amount of carries to not have a 20+ yard run.
If he gets volume, he'll be a fine high floor/low ceiling RB2. Quizz in a 2-minute drill, or 4th quarter catch up time and a rookie looking on for early down work are plausible realities.

I find it really interesting that there is so much discussion on either of them. …. just not seeing a league winner out of the 2 put together. …

Definitely not a league winner. But a solid every week flex play available in round 6 or 7?

I will take it.

Oh, I certainly get that. And don't get me wrong, I'd take Barber there - but just found it interesting that there would be a 3 page debate on him vs the rook. ....

when it comes to a RB getting 15 or more touches a week, they're all worth a 3 page debate 'round these parts.

And sometimes those kinds if guys are league winners. At the very least, they might keep you from making an Ill advised trade out of desperation

I think he reports before the game, but that's nothing but pure speculation. He could fully be prepared to sit out.

I really think this was the last day for him to report and get close to a full workload on Sunday.

If he shows up on Saturday, I'm not even sure if they dress him.

Good thing I got Connor because after that stunt Bell pulled on Monday, I could not trust him for this week

i would think he would just have to report before the 1st game to avoid being hit with more fines, but I'm not sure how that part works. even if he just sits on the bench in street clothes, i would imagine him reporting before the game would mean something versus reporting after week 1

Well I believe if he doesn't report before week 1 he doesn't get paid for that game because he still hasn't signed his franchise tender. I don't think they can fine him though if he hasn't signed the tender yet because technically he's not a part of the team. The game check is going to hurt a lot more than any fines can.

Only because I play @Yellow Fuzzies week 1, and he has Bell.... I wouldn't mind if he takes his time.

But I have a feeling if he's holding out for money, and missing week 1 will cost him plenty, he'll report.

Since he hasn't reported yet, I am thinking he sits game 1.

Because, if Pittsburgh loses at Cleveland (I and I think they will without Bell), LeVeon will have an unbelievable amount of leverage.

Yeah, but that game check is $906,000. I mean if he doesn't want it I'll take it. Sorry just found this on ESPN, I overestimated. LOL

The Steelers and Bell have failed to reach a long-term agreement in each of the past two summers. Each week Bell skips, he forfeits $852,941.

Heard he's only played Week 1 twice in the last five years.

Seems sketchy. Anyone know if that's true?
