Just back from the Monday night game with the Raidas. Should have had Treff back for round two of Monday night Bronc/Raiders-this one was more enjoyable for the Fuzzies...
Well..I probably would've gone. . but gawd I woulda been miserable! And I knew it was coming, just hoped it wouldn't be too bad

I

... speaking of spikes, in our MBBRL, I'm up against a nasty Lefty squad led by Jimmy Graham, the same Josh Gordon (nice flex play), and Antonio Brown, at 112 points with Peyton to come... vs ... my DMC and two guys Peyton throws to in Decker and Julius Thomas, with a massive 47 points to build on!!!

Sometimes when the other options are really crappy the choice you make looks good. .... now the question is where will he end up ??

Week 3 Report

Family Cartel Domination Continues

Lefty and Bandit are still dominating their respective leagues, still first in PF, still first in breakdown, and still undefeated and tied for first in W-L records. At this rate the #1 Seed will have to be renamed the Carraway Seed.

With a convincing 125-91 win over wilwhite to also stay undefeated at 3-0, Treff is making a push in the A League. Nobody's really pushing Bandit in the B league.

Lucky Stiff

After a 72-71 victory over Sox, HaroldSeattle is the only other undefeated team in either league - despite being last in PF and last in breakdown. I didn't know that could be done. Left Sox winless at 0-3.

Also Winless

Fuzzies barely lost a couple of tough matchups in the first two weeks, but laid an egg in a winnable game this week, falling to Joe's Sloths 93-51.

TKO ran into the Lefty buzzsaw, 142-87, to fall to 0-3. (Maybe I'll start referring to TKO as Simon LeBon, because he only scores in the 80s.)

Barilko's Oilers are sinking, falling to Microwahevo 79-66 and still looking for a win.

And the overhyped Drone lost a battle to the previously winless to Chef, 101-89.

Sampernick

Just like his QB, Sam had a league-crushing Week 1 and has been mysteriously awful since, dropping a 75-62 decision to Scape and falling from the top of the power rankings to a tenth-place tie.

In Other Games

KOTF
Tough-Luck Tlance finally gets a win, 114-106 over Duff
Ram Tough demolished Smoking Monkey 125-49 (49... ouch)

BATG
Bandit handed dblake his first loss, 120-96
MilkSpiller over TK 102-90
JDM trampled Foot 95-61, so they join a 3-way tie with Micro atop the Huns

Standings

Keepers of the Flame

Barbarians at the Gate

Keepers of the Flame vs. Barbarians at the Gate

The Keepers beat the Barbarians for the third week in a row, 1120-1042 (78 pts), extending their lead to 3586-3459 (127 pts)

Thanks, Scape. Thanks also to Joe for laying out how to get images into the forum a while back.

Great job as usual Wil. Can't believe TLance has scored 348 points in the A league and is 1-2. His defense must be about as good as the Giants.

Lol............................BTW, Fuzzy and I have an announcement to make................THE Sportsboys trade Adrian Peterson and Hakeem Nicks for Marshawn Lynch and DeShaun Jackson. Seems a pretty even trade to me.

Can u say blockbuster??

Well the key for my end is they both stay healthy (along with Vick) and AP is AP so if Nicks turns out just to be OK this season then even trade but if Nicks ends up being the stud he can be then Fuzz wins or if he turns out to be the dud (that we know he can be too) then I win. Personally I think Nicks ends up being a high end 2 and the trade ends up being even.

Much better than what I could offer. ..... does seem help both teams.

At 0-3, the Fuzzies and the Sportsboy thought we needed to shake it up. If we are going down we are going down tradin'.

LOL. I gave up 106 in the win this week. I was a near-garbage time TD from Denarius Moore away from another L.

Since the D isn't working, I may have to go Tonya Harding on my opponent's best player each week.

So your opponent's best player is Nancy Kerrigan?

Funny, Tlance - at the end of the first season we toyed with the idea of letting people "defend" a player. You pick a player on your opponent's team, and that player only scores half the points (two thirds for QB). That way you have a modicum of control over what the other guy scores.

Didn't we actually give it a test run?
