Barilko
Probably at hockey or some dam concert you tell me

When I had to win Barbarian bowl to get into Keepers my opponent picked up Tebow if I remember correctly I countered with Moss or some one and it worked for me. Bandit must have been watching
Barilko, you will be missed. But I know you'll be around to visit. Especially since no one else on this board knows what TOI stands for (except for maybe TKO). Keep me sane, brother.I just don't see how Sam and Barilko can avoid [relegation] at this point. They would both need to have monster point weeks to climb up high enough for it to make a difference. ...so let's just begin our eulogies now.

Week 14 Selfish Picks
From Bandit's write-up I get the sense that even if I lose this week, I still may get the 4th seed, unless my team has a complete collapse to lose significant power points. But just in case all of that is wrong...
Ram Wares down Milky - Ram clinches Aramis & locks up #3 seed.
tlance 'Bergers Chef - Chef drops to 7-7.
Joe Bortles Fuzzies - Joe clinches the Athos & #2 seed; Fuzz wins the chance to beat tlance.
Lefty Cobbs TKO - moves to a respectable 7-7. But fires head of scouting. TKO scours CFL for prospects.
Treff Draughns Barilko - Treff also gets to a respectable 7-7 but cleans house by firing everyone.
Bandit Landrys SanaWil - Bandit fires only the spreadsheet beancounters and reworks his calculations to a new algorithm.

Sam, we've been together for several years. Although we never were really that close. You'll probably blame the job. I did enjoy our trip to Golden Mountain. I won't miss the stories about your crazy in-laws. But something tells me that you'll be more active posting than ever before. May the force live long and prosper, Sam of Sport.
Just thought I'd spice things up a shade with news from the Relegation front.I just don't see how Sam and Barilko can avoid it at this point. They would both need to have monster point weeks to climb up high enough for it to make a difference. The biggest problem they have is that points and breakdown wise, the two closest people are Milk and Ram, but because they have such good records, they are just earning too many points in the Win/loss portion of the power rankings to be caught, so let's just begin our eulogies now.
I hope you know it was all tongue-in-cheek? Amazing that you remember our first interaction on cBS! Pretty sure it was you, Foot and Treff that convinced me to join the MBBRL. Back then, I was content being an observer.Man Joe, I thought we were close............yeah I haven't been around as much as in previous years but I've been streaky this year.................BTW, you were the first dude I interacted with over on the cBS Fantasy Boards........
Note that if somehow Faceless takes all the hardware in the Barbarians, only one team will move up/down. So Barilko could also steal from Sam that additional glimmer of hope by simply outscoring Sam and Milk by 12 and picking up an additional 3 breakdown points on Milk or Ram.
Would hate to speak for Sam and Foot, but I'm sure they agree, we're happy we didI hope you know it was all tongue-in-cheek? Amazing that you remember our first interaction on cBS! Barilko looks like he's stuck - even with a great showing he can only pick up half a point in W/L, 3 points in Breakdown, and 2 points in PF, so his ceiling is 9.5 and that won't get him out of the bottom two spots. In theory he could catch Ram if he does great, Ram does awful, and Sam and Milk catch Ram in breakdown and PF.
If Sam puts up one of the high scores on the week, he has a possibility of catching the loser of the Milk/Ram matchup (fyi, don't try to milk a ram). He can gain as much as 1.5 points in W/L, 3 in Breakdown, and 1 in PF, which could lift him from 7.5 points to a ceiling of 13 points.
On the other hand:
If Ram loses, he could lose anywhere from 0 to 1.5 points in W/L, 2 points in Breakdown, and possibly 3 in PF if he really tanks it, for a floor of 8 points. (His floor is 12.5 if he wins.)
If Milk lose his matchup wth Ram, he'll lose at least 1 point in W/L, and possibly 1.5. He'll also lose at least 1 point in Breakdown, but could lose as many as 3, and could also lose 1 point in PF. That would drop him from 16 to 13.5 at best and 11 at worst.
So stakes are high for Ram and Milk, because not only does a win put them in the playoffs, but a loss could mean demotion to the B league if Sam puts up a high score.
In Unlikely Land, if Lefty lays a total egg and has low score on the week, he could theoretically drop 1 pt in W/L, 3 in Breakdown, and 1 in PF, dropping him from 16.5 to 11.5 at worst, so if everything broke right for Sam, Lefty could face relegation.
Note that if somehow Faceless takes all the hardware in the Barbarians, only one team will move up/down. So Barilko could also steal from Sam that additional glimmer of hope by simply outscoring Sam and Milk by 12 and picking up an additional 3 breakdown points on Milk or Ram.
i knew it was evil and was going to bring it up but just couldnt remember my evilOh Barilko that was me that picked up Tebow and you picked up Aaron Hernandez so it was good vs. evil. And as it often does, evil won.
You got itI remember a good vs. evil battle. Wasn't it Aaron Hernandez?
