Lefty needs 25 from Barnidge.
Joe needs 14 from Benjamin.
Chef needs 23 from Aiken.

Good luck boys!

Feel weird with the win. Especially at the expense of 47 bench points from CJA and OBJ.

A Thanksgiving induced mistake for @Ram Tough ?

Yes

Actually I need him to be under 16 for my $$ league. .... I'm no longer a contender here. ....

I feel you. This week in one of my dynasty leagues my bench outscored my starters. Here are the players that I left on my bench:
Maclin 23
Spiller 0.6
J. Thomas 17.6
Washington 4.3
Ware 17.5
Anderson 28.3
Hill 10
Winston 14.5
Diggs 3.1

Granted some of them arent playable right now I left some serious points on the bench. Thankfully I was able to eek a win out.

Alright what is everyone's philosophy on picking up players on waivers when you are out of the playoff race? For instance, right now I am #1 on the waiver wire here and David Johnson is available. Should I pick him up and try to score the most points I can or not put in for him and let one of the teams that still have a shot at the playoffs get him instead? Thoughts?

Until the playoffs start, owners should be going all out... It is not just making the playoffs but it is also playing the spoiler!!!

Agree with this. Actually, I think an owner should do their very best to win every game they can until the season is over.

that is more debatable... i am not a fan of non playoff teams making add/drops during the playoffs... But truth be told, that is more to protect from dropping good players... I doubt that anyone here would do that...

There's still relegation to consider fellers...everyone should be going all out, every week. No problems at all with anyone making waiver claims..or trades for that matter

Gotta agree with you on that part. Nothing drives me more crazy in baseball than when a team falls out of the playoffs and begins weeding their good players into the waiver pool. My exception there is for keeper or dynasty leagues.

The bottom teams are fighting too. Add/start the best players you can at ALL times, imo.

But yes. Come playoff time, no need for it, if the non-playoff teams are not effected.

Yes, you should. Even though your not in a race for relegation. .at least I highly doubt that's a possibility. .all 12 teams can either potentially be in the playoffs, or should disaster strike, relegated. .you run your team like you can't afford to lose a single point

I think Milk is thinking of a little different scenario, no? If it's the last game of the season and I can pick up a player I think will help me win, I'll do it. Seems to me that a playoff team would already be all over it. But I certainly wouldn't drop a player in the thoughts of "well, I'm out anyway and maybe someone can use him".

Not to worry about ole Lefty - - he will fight to the bitter end. However, I'm way back on waiver claims anyway so I'll likely ride mostly with what I have barring injury. .... relegation does add added incentive to go 'balls to the wall' through the ENTIRE season. ....
