I had Buck Allen at at least one point a few weeks ago thinking its only a matter of time before Forsett goes down, but with other injuries/byes, couldn't afford to hang on and wait

That's correct!
So head-to-head record means nothing within our division?#3 Fuzzy (6-5) Holds the division tiebreaker right now because it's a 3 way tie.
Outside looking in
#6 Joe (6-5) 2nd best breakdown record of the 6-5 wild card teams
#7 Treff (6-5) 3rd best breakdown record of the 6-5 wild card teams

I've been in this league for how long? And I still don't know?
I beat Fuzzies. But Treff beat me. And Fuzzies beat Treff.
So it's still power that decides?
Now with that being said, I would like to make a suggestion that we use breakdown record as the first tiebreaker for the wild card, the seeding, and the 2nd tiebreaker for division ties after division record instead of points for. I think breakdown record is a better indicator of a team's overall season than points for is and we could use points for as the next tiebreaker if teams have the same breakdown record. Thoughts from everyone?????
Since this isn't any serious type of league changing "legislation", does anyone feel we really need a poll for this one, or can we just go with whatever we hash out here? I'm thinking just going with it should be sufficient
Yeah, just go with it - it doesn't favor one league or the other, doesn't touch on any other rules, and in other places in our league rules breakdown has priority over PF anyway.
Agreed...far too many dang polls lately anyways
Seeing as how there was never any dissenting opinions offered on the breakdown playoffs seeding discussion, it was assumed we agreed on the breakdown record to determine that 4th spot
