Week 11 picks-

Treff over TKO, Brock loves him some VD
Joe over Tlance, T already got the only great week Stafford is going to have
Lefty over Fuzz...to many key players on bye or questionable for the Fuzzy one
Bar over Sam..Romo makes it close, but the handicap of J. Bell is too much to overcome
Ram over Chef- CJ Anderson has a mild resurgence now that they have a QB instead of a senior citizen
Bandit over Milk- physically impossible for Rodgers to have 3 straight shit games. ..right?

Chef - Invitation to bid was open to any and everyone. ..... I'm not selective. If you look in the fantasy dictionary for douche-bag RB there is a picture of Hill. .... :suds:

Haha, well said. I just figured if you had any interest in my guys you would've made an offer. In any event, I didn't exactly make a fantastic offer to Treff.

But I still love you, man! ;)

Good ol' Delanie. A little conk on the head can't keep him down. A TD woulda been nice, though.

Week 10 Recap

Hey Tlance scored the most points last week. Is anybody surprised? Chef, Milk, Tlance, TKO, Joe, and Bandit pulled out wins last week in the Keepers and in the Barbarians it was Monkey, Stomp, Steelers, Face, OBX, and Haroldseattle with the wins.

With only 4 regular season weeks left I think we can stick a nail in the coffin of more than two B league teams moving up this year since the Keepers now have a 502 point lead over the Barbarians.

Fuzzy still has the best breakdown record and the most points and is the leader in the power rankings even though he now sits behind Joe in his division. Bandit is still 2nd in points and breakdown and in last place in his division.

The Keepers have 7 teams with at least 975 points right now and the Barbarians only have 2.

Tlance is still in control of the Keepers and the Porthos division with the best overall record, but Chef is only one game back in the division and keep in mind that Chef beat Tlance head-to-head earlier this year, so if Chef can pull off a win against him when they play again the last week of the season then Chef would hold the tiebreaker.

In the Athos division Joe and Fuzzy are tied at the top with Joe holding the tiebreaker right now because he beat Fuzzy head-to-head earlier this year. They will also play each other the last week of the regular season, so there could be a lot of excitement that week.

In the Aramis division Milk has the division lead at 6-4 with Lefty and Ram just one game back. Milk has the 2nd least points in the league, but a really good schedule maker.

The only two teams that have been eliminated from playoff contention are Barilko and TKO. Right now the playoff teams would be:

#1 Tlance 8-2
#2 Joe 6-4 and better breakdown record than Milk
#3 Milk 6-4
#4 Chef 7-3 only wild card team with this record

Still in good shape

#5 Fuzzy 6-4
#6 Lefty 5-5 best breakdown record of the 5-5 teams
#7 Treff 5-5 2nd best breakdown record of the 5-5 teams
#8 Ram 5-5 worst breakdown record of the 5-5 teams

A slim chance in hell

#9 and #10 Bandit and Sam

The biggest mover by far last week was TKO. By putting 144 on the board, he moved up to 5th in points and 7th in breakdown and is no longer on the brink of relegation. Barilko on the other hand really needs to start putting some triple digit scores together as does Sam, but what would help both of them the most is if Milk started losing since he has the 2nd least points and the 3rd least breakdown record but holds a 6-4 record which is worth 9 power points right now!

Race for Relegation

Barilko 3.5 power ranking
Sam 8.5 power ranking
Milk 14 power ranking
Treff 15 power ranking
Ram 15 power ranking
TKO 15.5 power ranking

In the Barbarians Monkey keeps on winning. Milk you think you have a good defense, Monkey's only given up 812 points this year, that's 81.2 per week. Monkey is in control of the Ostrogoths division now after notching his 8th straight win last week and Cheesehead had his 4th straight loss so they are going in opposite directions, which gives Monkey a two game lead.

In the Visigoths division, Face is leading with Smitty one game back and both Shady and BK lurking two games back.

In the Huns division Steelers is holding on to his two game lead now over OBX.

Right now the playoff teams would be:

#1 Monkey 8-2
#2 Face 7-3
#3 Steelers 5-4-1
#4 Smitty 6-4 and better breakdown record than Cheesehead

Still in good shape

#5 Cheesehead 6-4
#6 Shady 5-5 best breakdown record of 5-5 teams
#7 BK 5-5 2nd best breakdown record of 5-5 teams
#8 Stomp 5-5 worst breakdown record of 5-5 teams

A slim chance in hell

#9 Haroldseattle 4-6
#10 OBX 3-6-1 much better chance to win the division than the wild card
#11 Micro 3-7 also a better chance to win the division
#12 Foot 2-8 needs to win out and get so much help it's not even funny.

Technically though there are no teams eliminated from playoff contention in the Barbarians league although I'm sure that will change next week.

The biggest thing last week was the poor breakdown performances by Shady, Cheesehead, and BK which tightened things up considerably. We even have a new breakdown leader for the golden ticket to the A league which is Face at 69-37-4, but there are four other teams with at least 61 wins, so here is your race for golden ticket to the A league:

Face 69-37-4
Shady 67-42-1
Monkey 65-44-1
Smitty 64-45-1
Cheesehead 61-45-4

On the opposite end, in the "race" for oblivion, Micro and Foot have been dancing back and forth with the worst power rankings for several weeks with Micro holding it right now. Micro has been outscored by 260 points this year!! It's crazy because he is coming off of two straight fantastic years in the MBBRL, but I guess you can't win forever (unless you're Tlance)

Micro 4 power ranking
Foot 6 power ranking
Haroldseattle 9 power ranking

This is the last week before we get back to the all important division games, so good luck to everybody.

Here is your standings sheet:

You guys act like I do no wrong!
Boom.
One game in, and my players are afraid of you.
Blake Bortles has been averaging 24 points a game. Against tlance = 11.
Hurns has been more unsteady, but has averaged 11.9 points a game. And he hasn't had less than 4. Against tlance = 1.

Hate you.

I see a little Mariota of a man...Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will he do the Fandango?
This has been stuck in my head since you posted it.

How about this variation:
I see a little Mariota of a man...Reggie Bush! Reggie Bush! Will he pass to Fasano?

Or perhaps this works for Barilko:
I see a little Mariota of a man...Warren Moon! Warren Moon! Will he pass to Fasano?

Curse you Chef.

Gonna be on a plane from Houston to Ixtapa Mexico when the decision on Lynch or Rawls comes down. ..so if Lynch is a no go at gametime, nothing I can do about it, and not going to repeat what I did last week and leave Rawls in while Lynch plays.

Sucks
