Appreciate that Wil, but I guess hey it's better to be in last place and safe from any relegation talk than in 2nd place and still not safe. It's just par for the course this year. The good news is I might have the best 3-6 team ever.

Anytime the Jags play a team with a Revis, or V. Davis, or any other "shut down" / "mirror" type corner who will be locked up against ARob, Hurns is probably a WR2..any other week, he's a crapshoot, 2-4 catches, and pray for a TD

Hurns has scored a TD 6 weeks in a row. All but one of those weeks he also had over 50 yards.

Yeah..and one of those was a 2 catch day, one of which was a lucky 60+ yard fluke, the other a shot Td...he's running on flukes, not something I want to bank on, ESPECIALLY since he's got 6 in a row, luck is gotta be running thin

It reminds me of Terrence Williams two years ago, he went on a similar run. However Hurns is more involved in the offense than just a deep threat IMO. He got 8 targets this week. Hurns has 59 targets so far so he is solidly involved. Not to say that I think he is a WR1 but im also not one to quickly dismiss him

Ha, the way that team is made up, he'd be a weekly starter for my team. Plus he's young, long term, given Bortles continued growth, he could be excellent regardless later on. That and 14 teams vs 12 teams drastically changes what is and isn't start worthy.
Even with me, he'd be mildly expensive

All is not lost...

Allen Hurns has a sprained left foot, and was in a walking boot on Monday.
He apparently suffered the injury on Blake Bortles' game-ending interception in Sunday's loss. His Week 10 status is entirely unclear. If there's a straw to grasp, it's that Hurns is always dealing with some sort of injury, but typically plays through them. For now, he should be considered day to day. His status will be updated no later than Wednesday, when the Jags must issue their first injury report of the week. Nov 9 - 3:28 PM
