Wow. Look at the Huns Division ^^^
I refuse to make my picks until MilkSpiller22 and averagejoe decide on the offers.
Hate to disappoint, but I finally like my team so I don't want to mess with it.
Gotta say Chef, that was a spicy menu item you offered. Very rich. Not sure it agreed with me?

Week 7 Picks
Joe over Bandit (I'm not as confident as you guys. I've been burned by bye week fill-ins before.)
Lefty over tlance (ESPN projects 8 points for Matt Jones, pretty generous for a guy barely averaging above 2 pts the last 4 weeks).
Fuzzy beats TKO
Sam over Treff (this game is a tough call & can go either way).
Barilko upsets Ram (I like the Falcons D vs the non-Mariota Titans).
Chef over Milky

I am actually considering Matt Jones in every league this week. I think he has a great shot to rack up points if Thompson sits. Could be a big game for him.

Really? Then I should do the same, thought he had a bad toe or something going on.

I should qualify that.

I am starting him over Blount in one league, C. Johnson in another and a bunch of scrubs in MBBRL. Blount and Johnson have rough matchups.

Week 7 picks- pick em results should get updated at some point during the game

Joe runs away from the Bandit- bye week for half the team is a MF'er

Lefty over Tlance- Stafford just got half his season total last week, expecting a big time reality check

TKO over Fuzzy- double barreled attack of Ryan and Julio win the day

Treff over Sam-double barreled again, Joe Cool and Steve Smith..and I think Big Ben returns and hits MartyB with a 30 burger ;)

Barilko over Ram-
"We won a game yesterday, if we win one today that's two in a row. If we win one tomorrow that's called a winning streak. It has happened before. SO LET'S JACK IT UP A LITTLE!"

Chef over Milk- come on, a Chef can't get defeated by a simple dairy product

I might still be working on the ingredients. I must say that I enjoyed your reply in the rejection and I also liked Milk's comment about our matchup. Nice job both of you. :thumb:

Mega deal for TKO and Milk..well done fellers

That's a blockbuster for sure. Eifert sure has made the rounds.

Your trade with Bandit is a very interesting one. I'll be curious to see how that works out.

I feel Calvin was bailed out in OT last week. I'm a little worried despite the nice schedule. That, and I need to double down on Matty Ice for a chance at a win or two.

Eifert and Calvin to milk, Julio and DMC to TKO.

I'm RB handicapped, and no one seemed to be all that thrilled about giving a standard RB for Landry, so I'll hope Starks keeps on keeping on...I'm like T and Will during the draft. .a RB with a heartbeat? Where do I sign? ?

I'm liking your team too, Joe. Nasty. If JMatt ever does anything, you look like a championship team.

Week 6 Recap

Well, the good keep on winning and the bad keep on losing, although congratulations to Barilko on his first win of the season over Lefty. The Carraway men are very nice as TKO had his only win over me and Barilko had his only win over Lefty.

Keepers Recap

Treff beats Bandit 115-85. Eddie Lacy sucks. Treff moves to 4-2 and Bandit falls to 2-4.

Tlance over TKO 123-116. Well of course Tlance would find a way to win the game of the week and take over the best record in the league. Only he would know that Matthew Stafford would have a 41 point game. Unbelievable. Everything he touches turns to gold. Tlance moves to 5-1 and TKO falls to 1-5.

Joe over Chef 126-101. And Devonta Freeman just keeps going and going and going. Joe goes to 4-2 and Chef falls to 3-3.

Barilko over Lefty 123-82 . Way to go Barilko. Barilko goes to 1-5 and Lefty falls to 4-2 but is still in first place in the Aramis division.

Fuzzy over Ram 98-66. In the five games that both Brady and the Broncos D have played together, the least amount of points they have combined for is 46. Fuzzy stays in first place in the Athos division at 4-2 and Ram falls to 3-3.

Sam over Milk 99-56. Milk really needs Dez to come back. Sam moved up to 2-4 and Milk falls to 3-3.

Barbarians Recap

Face over OBX 121-99. Face rides Deandre Hopkins to improve to 5-1 and stay in first place in the Visogoths division. OBX falls to 1-4-1.

Smitty over Micro 106-62. Micro might have set a record with 97 points on his bench out of 3 players. Now granted two of them were quarterbacks, but still. Smitty moves to 3-3 and Micro falls to 2-4.

Monkey over BK 96-80. Monkey got his 4th straight win to improve to 4-2 and BK falls to 3-3.

Shady over Harold 105-55. Shady got enough out of Brady and Freeman to tie Harold’s total. Didn’t help that Harold had 3 zeroes on his team. Shady moves to 3-3 and Harold falls to 1-5.

Cheesehead over Steelers 123-116. Steelers did everything he could to knock Cheesehead from the ranks of the unbeaten, but in the end Eli only pulled 10 points instead of the 17 that he needed and Cheesehead stayed the only unbeaten team and has a two game lead in the Ostrogoths division at 6-0. Steelers has lost two straight, is under .500, but is still in first place in the the Huns division.

Stomp over Foot 109-50. Foot could have played all 14 of his guys and still lost by 32. Not a good sign. Stomp moves to 3-3 and Foot falls to 2-4.

League Notes

The Keepers outscored the Barbarians again this week 1190-1122 which extends their overall lead for the season to 6853-6515 or 338 points. The Barbarians will have to really turn it on to have any kind of chance whatsoever for more than two teams to move up. The A league left 296 points on their benches and the B league left 388 points on their benches.

There is only one team in the Barbarians league with more than 485 points (Shady with 524), but there are 5 teams in the Keepers league (Fuzzy, Bandit, Lefty, Joe, Tlance) with at least 490.

Every team in the Aramis division won two weeks ago, but every team lost this week so the standings didn’t change at all. In fact, they had the 3 lowest scores last week in the Keepers.

Every team in the Athos division won this week so the standings didn’t change there either.

The only Keepers team with more than a two game streak going is the wizard with a three game winning streak on top of the Porthos division with a two game lead.

There are 4 teams over 600 points in the Keepers still led by Fuzzy with 659.

In the Barbarians, there are now two teams over 600 points (Face, Shady) and both are in the Visogoths division.

The entire Huns division lost last week and now the entire division is under .500 and led by Steelers at 2-3-1.

So Barilko took my advice last week posting the 2nd highest score in the league and improving in breakdown and points numbers, but he is still leading in the battle for relegation with a 3.5 power ranking, but he is now only 36 points behind Milk for 11th in points and only 5 games behind Sam for 11th place in breakdown. And right now TKO has moved out of the 2nd relegation spot and Sam has moved into it, but it’s very close.

Race for Relegation

Barilko power ranking 3.5
Sam power ranking 9.5
TKO power ranking 10.5
Milk power ranking 11.0
Ram power ranking 14.0

In the Barbarians, it’s still Shady that would have the golden ticket to the A league with the best breakdown record, but both Cheesehead and Face closed the gap on him. The other team going up would be the Super Bowl champion, especially since the breakdown champ wouldn’t even make the playoffs.

Golden Ticket to the A league (Best breakdown record)

Shady 47-19
Cheesehead 44-20-2
Face 42-21-3

In the race for the purgatory or the motorboating of supermodels or oblivion or whatever the hell we decided to call it, Micro is sitting at a power ranking of 5.5, Harold is at 7, Foot is at 7.5.

Next week's matchups:

Keepers of the Flame

Bandit (2-4) v. Joe (4-2)
Lefty (4-2) v. Tlance (5-1)
Fuzzy (4-2) v. TKO (1-5)
Treff (4-2) v. Sam (2-4)
Barilko (1-5) v. Ram (3-2)
Milk (3-3) v. Chef (3-3)

Barbarians at the Gate

Monkey (4-2) v. Shady (3-3)
Micro (2-4) v. Cheesehead (6-0)
BK (3-3) v. Stomp (3-3)
Harold (1-5) v. Foot (2-4)
Steelers (2-3-1) v. Face (5-1)
OBX (1-4-1) v. Smitty (3-3)
