Thank you Mr. Crosby. @Sam Sportboy , I may have been a bit premature in my congrats...didn't expect that from my kicker. Still think you make the comeback, though.

@TREFF - my props to you about DeMarco. You nailed that scenario to a T so far. I'm still holding out hope, but...Yikes.

There's still hope there. .but I think they've gotta go with Hillman to get there. .he's better at missing the penetration

nah, I think they will go heavy with Juwan Thompson if they stop going to Anderson... I just don't see a QB on his last legs allowing one of the smallest players to protect him... He looked awful at times vs KC... Just don't see Hillman helping manning out...

Thompsons pass pro isn't that good either. Nor does he avoid the first hit. .in fact he initiates it, against linebackers, fine, sure why not, but he's not running over linemen consistently. He's big, he'd be great at short yardage, and maybe even in spurts..but that's about it.

Manning trusted Hillman just fine last year, you don't have to be big to cut a blitzer

Hillman is fine for the short term- up to 5 games... But anything longer than that, I just don't trust him... Maybe I just don't trust him to be the #1 back all together... Still think they are best off giving Anderson a 3rd chance... He is their best situation...

I don't trust him either, he'll get taken out eventually. But like I've said all along, CJ is the best all around guy, he's good at everything, but great at nothing. They need someone great at something to get it going, and Hillman is great at making people miss, adequate at most everything else except breaking tackles. may as well give him a real shot.

I can see them doing a committee, I agree that Hillman is the spark plug they need... I just dont think he should be in the game for over 50% of the offensive snaps...

I think if their offensive line doesn't start blocking better, it's not going to matter who the running back is and they will be looking for a new quarterback. Peyton has taken more big hits in the first two games this year than he has in any season he's been with the Broncos. There have been times that he hasn't even had time to do his famous curl up into the fetal position sack move and he has been crushed. I do think they are a much better team both running and throwing from the shotgun though. It opens up the running lanes and give Peyton an extra second (which is all he needs) to find the open receiver.

End of first quarter, 3 points down, 12 to go.

Game flow so far favoring Ivory and Moncrief.
