Merry Christmas to you all! Any big plans for anyone on here? For me and my family with my job we are pretty much home for the holidays. We will Skype with my wife's family tomorrow but otherwise it is actually a holiday full of work. If I can survive this weekend thankfully it will be a bit more of some smooth sailing moving forward for the next couple of months.

This is the first year that my family hasn't gotten me anything Broncos related. I still have my wife's family to go here in a week so good chance that changes but still was a bit shocked nobody else in my immediate family thought "Hey this guy might just like something related to one of his great passions." I guess you could say my wife bought me the newest Madden game and of course my team of choice is the Broncos so in a way I guess I did get something Broncos related.

What did you think of the Madden game?

Not a fan to be honest. They have made it way too easy for a WR to catch just about everything possible thrown their direction. I mean DT is making 1 handed catches like they are going out of style. I could literally just run a deep pass pattern with him every time and he will catch it 95 out of a 100 times. Not a fan of the running game either. I thought they had fixed the whole getting stuck on an OL player but it seems like they have gone back to the old ways that even barely touching an OL player stops a RB in their tracks and they can't move until a defensive player touches them it seems.

I haven't had a chance to try any of the different options they have other than franchise mode so maybe I will find something else that I like about the game but so far I feel like this one has been a step back. Really the main time I play it is after a Broncos loss as feels good to go beat the crap out of some team and at least end the day seeing the Broncos win a game. So I am hoping I don't have the urge to play it Monday night.
