Philly fans are dumber than dirt... I don't even have to read that.

Come on Coug, they're calling for his head.

Yah....I guess I kind of understand why you dislike all of the hate that Philly fans are giving your boy Bradford. You must be heart broken in a sense that Sammy could be at the end of his career soon. My, my, my what ever will you do?

Yes Foles is under contract.... That's the problem. We can't cut him next year without taking a huge cap hit. and it might be the worst thing Fisher has done. Sam will get a contract next year for sure.

No Cougie you're wrong again. There you go again, spouting out without knowing the facts! Now please go to post 83 and read the "Options for the Rams and the bottom line" section. Please read this as this is factual!

I think that this organization learned a long time ago not to dump a ton of money on one guy and having to sit on his ridiculous contract for multiple years. Anybody come to mind?

There is No huge CAP hit if we cut Foles! ...and we could very well cut him at the end of this season!

I see your point but those guys dont really help without a QB on the other side of the ball. You have to admit Sam never threw the ball that poorly like Foles. I believe Fisher did the trade knowing Foles wasn't as talented as a quarterback but they could not take a chance of Sam getting hurt again and going to a back up quarterback for another year. that would be coaching suicide. Foles had a better chance of staying healthy and they thought he would be an average quarterback to get the job done. The problem is he hasn't been average hes been really bad. so its backfired. I honestly don't blame Fisher I probably would've done the same thing too and like you said save a lot of money. Foles has been a big disappointment hopefully he can turn it around. If you go back to 13 when Foles had a great year he was throwing the ball down the middle of the field and killing defenses! But now defenses have taken the middle of the field away and he can't throw the ball to the sideline with accuracy. Which is a big problem.

Yes Coug. Sam threw plenty of bad balls. Really bad at times. Call it the Oline or lack of talent at WR, whatever... Sam and Foles are fairly close man.

Nick Foles signed a 2 year, $24,540,000 contract with the St. Louis Rams, including a $3,000,000 signing bonus, $13,792,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $12,270,000. In 2015, Foles will earn a base salary of $1,022,000, a signing bonus of $3,000,000, a roster bonus of $2,000,000 and a workout bonus of $20,000. Foles has a cap hit of $4,042,000 while his dead money value is $7,792,000.

It says his cap hit would be 8.75m in 2016 with a dead cap space of 9.75m. According to sports track.

If he gets fired it will have nothing to do with Bradford. He actually looks real smart for getting rid of Foles! It will be because he gutted so many all pros from the team. Including his two guards from the Oline... Bad move Chip when you have a pocket passer like Sam coming in. Not to mention His best WR Maclin and others.

I still think Kelly thought he was going to be able to get Marriota, Sammy doesn't fit his system, I don't think he really wanted Sammy like you seem to think "everyone" did!
In the end Kelly was left holding the bag( Bradford) so of course he has to play him, his only other option is Sanchez.

Coug, I thought Foles would play better than this, obviously everyone did! Bottomline he isn't Bradford, and that's a good thing!

Your excuses and reasons that we traded him, or that Philly wanted him so bad, or that every other team wanted him, or that he has played well this season, or he never had this or never had that, are all just excuses, and he has NEVER produced, even when given a cople of full seasons. He is not that good, he is not a leader, and he will never take any team anywhere, and almost "everyone" here realizes it but you!

Bradford would have been carted off on a stretcher during the Green Bay game.

True, "if" he would have even made to that game!

I've tried to take Coug under my wing and help him through this, I hate to see a fellow Ram fan stoop to this level of player love, but obviously he is more of a Bradford fan than a Ram fan, so my efforts are in vain!

A couple full seasons on absolute terrible teams. Its not like he's ever had a good Oline or WR's. I know he's not an elite QB in this league but with a decent Oline and at least one real threat of a WR he would be a top 15 QB which is exactly what we need right now.

That cap hit for 2016 includes a $6M roster bonus. I'm guessing they would cut him before that was due.

If I were Foles, I'm thinking that'd be a belated Christmas present.

Well we are going to have to start over-AGAIN. I say sit them all and start with Mannion so he can grow with all the young guys presently on offense. The worst thing that can happen is the Rams can destroy his career through a good lengthy course of Bulgerization just like they did with every QB since Warner.

If I was Foles I'd be happy to have someone pay me millions for being mediocre at my job just like my coach.

Starting Mannion would be a good idea but Fisher would start Keenum before Mannion.
