I can dig the MCW and Livingston comparison. Shawn didn't have alot of range with the 3 ball. That kid was so good coming out of Peoria, IL but so dam skinny.

Yeah, when we drafted him, he was a lot like MCW.

Showed flashes. But, rough around the edges.

That injury was horrific. I'm very happy for him because he shouldn't have made it back from that.

He's a 33% career 3 point shooter and shot 31% last year. They need him to shoot 38% as he did 2 years ago

Be interesting to see the battle between Jerian Grant and MCW as the back up PG. We have so many SG/SF's on this roster.

Butler, McBuckets, Wade, Valentine, Canaan

I only consider Dougie & Mirotic 3 point specialist on their roster. Need another shooter

Jimmy Butler is not a 3 point specialist at all.

I'm more worried about our SG being a 3 point specialist. Jimmy's job is to get to the rim, foul line, have a good mid range game and play solid D. That's his game.

SF doesn't have to be a 3 point specialist.

Wade is now though, haven't you heard?

lol I mean if he keeps up what he did for Miami in the playoffs last year, he can really help. Also if Rondo can do what he did last year in Sacramento which was shoot 36% from 3. That would be really helpful as well. Unfortunately that's a lot of ifs/buts

I agree but to compete with Cleveland, you need to have 3 of 4 dependable guys who can shoot that 3 ball.

Or guys that can D up your guys that can shoot the 3 ball. I'm not expecting the Bulls to compete for the ECF btw. Not unless D Wade and Rondo have a time machine and Hoiberg does a 180. The only way this team can compete is slowing down the game and playing great defense.

I know the NBA has evolved into a jump shooting game somewhat, but I still believe in playing defense and executing on offense.

I bet the Kings regret not making that deal now that Lawson appears to have gone rogue again.

I really hope his situation was a misunderstanding.

But, coming to practices late, missing Team flights sound ominous.

Good thing Collison is only missing 8 games.

Man he's frustrating. C'mon Ty!

I think wade and Butler will have better 3pt% this year. Just my feeling. Nothing to go by.

MCW has been a below average PG since he stepped into the NBA. He put up good numbers as a rookie, simply because, somebody HAD to play.

I can't believe everybody was giving Hinkie shit for trading him away for what will turn out to be a top 10 pick.

The Lakers will be bad enough that the pick will still be top 10, but not quite shitty enough that they will retain the pick.

Am I missing something? What do the Lakers have to do with anything?

Do you really not know that the Sixers acquired the Lakers pick in the MCW trade? Hence, trading MCW and acquiring that asset will turn into a top 10 pick.

Yes I know the sixers have that pick. Just wondered what it has to do with this trade!

Dream on. The Lakers are getting another top 3 pick this year.

MCW needs to be used as a bench combo guard and shoot play off the ball more. He was miscast as a PG IMO. He is far too inefficient.

Give him run as an athlete in the second unit with less responsibility? I think he could be excellent in a role like that. Just not sure that the Bulls actually need that type of player. Door spacing will be absolutely brutal.
