I didnt see him as a fit in this defense anyway. It is a waste of time for all involved to continue.

It is the latest call that I like the Lions have made. I actually believe in 3 years Lions could have a winner. I am not sure I have thought that in a long time. 3 years away from competitive is a massive improvement.

I think maybe Campbell is finally accepting that the team is in full rebuild mode. Too many injuries at this point already. It also looks like Goff may not be the long term solution either as he is terrible under pressure. Maybe Watson should be considered if they dont fall in love with a prospect (and he stays out of jail ) .

Releasing Collins was one of the better moves this FO has made outside of purely hoping to trade him - no team wants a 32 year old LB, outside of obtaining him for depth purposes, who has clearly lost more than a step or two.
