I really like Hageman, but he's not a NT type. Depending on what's going on w/ Tank and Ray Mac's future with us, I'd definitely consider him the first round, but I'd have to know more to say if and when.

And honestly, with Williams and Dorsey, I'm not down on our NT position as most people.

I keep mentioning this but ATM IMHO Whitner has been real solid for us this season... keeps this up and why not bring him back on a fair/cheap deal?

I agree. Although Whitner may seek a long somewhat expensive deal as this may be his last contract or big one that is. I'd love to have him back at a good price maybe 2-3 years.

If we do resign Whitner it doesn't mean we shouldn't draft a safety in the 1-3 rounds.

What about trading up to land Louis Nix from ND. Do the same we did with Eric Reid. Trade up.

Watkins is the only player right now we should move up for IMO. Well the only one we have a shot to move up for at least. If he somehow falls out of the top 10 then we need to make a move. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is someone that I might feel we should move up for but I don't know if I want another safety in the top 20.

I wanted to add to this post. I've been looking at Hageman more closely and I've come to the realization that he's the best 3-4 end in the draft. I wanted to add these clips of a couple of his games (closer to game film vs highlights). Look at his explosion off the ball, coupled with the power at the point of attack. When he adds weight from more muscle from an NFL strength program and tips from vets he'll be a top 3-4 end in the league.
