As much as you have been screaming we should draft him, you dont get to do anything but whole heartedly agree with McShay on this one Dean. :laugh3:

Im surprised Dean doesn't already have the Redskins card filled out and waiting at the podium right now to turn it in for Moses.

I also want Moses but rather trade back for more picks due to all the good players still available.

The guy has a first round grade on him. The only 2 first round grade players left are Moses and Lee. We should be ecstatic that he is still there. If the skins take KOJO then the knees are not a problem. I just hope someone does trade up with Houston to take Moses on us. The two trade up guys should be Lee and Carr but you never know.

Lee was overrated...I have stated this the whole process...I was proven correct last night.

no Gk Carolina just made a bad pick. Taking Benjamin over Lee was hilarious. Besides the Eagles, Pats, and Dolphins. Worst pick in the first round.

Dean... I will say it now, Benjamin will be in the conversation for best rookie WR.

lol. yea right. He will get action b/c Carolina has no one. You guys seem to forget that Lee would of been a top 10 pick in last years draft but had a bad year last year b/c of injury. Plus why take Benjamin in the last first if you can get him in the late 2nd? With all the WR's on the board Carolina could of got him late 2nd. They could of had Moses and Benjamin. Thank You very much Carolina.

Another reason why the pick was bad b/c they value a boom/bust WR over a OT tackle prospect in a deep WR class. It makes no sense. Gross retired this year. They have no one at OT. That pick was just laughable.

Keep epdalling that swill Dean. Benjamin was not going to fall to the late second round. Carolina passed on MOses and Kojo to take Benjamin for a reason.... they consider him a better player than either of them. IM sure you will disagree. But their actions speak volumes. Moses and Kojo are right about where people expected them to be.

Kojo is not Moses. Multiple sources had Moses as a first round pick. How is Benjamin a better complete Wr than Lee, Lattimer, Matthews, or Robinson? That baffles me. Why would you take that risk in the first round? Hey, Im glad they did. It should give us Moses.

Lee is 5'11 dude. The numbers show that WRs over 6"0 tend to be more productive than WRs 6"0" and under. As for the rest, Benjamin has been consistently rated as better than all of them. BUt Im over it, he is a Panther now and we have no shot at him. I expect the front office to go heavy on O-line from this point.

Consistently rated better than all of them? Show me the proof. Cbs, walterfootball, Mcshay, Kiper, all have the guys I mentioned rated higher.

Move down 22 slots when trading with the 49ers skindsdad? That is too far.

not if you target martin or richburg , then follow with cyril richardson or antonio richardson

that could net 2 ten year starters

While I don't reply on here very much, figured I would chime in with my opinions with the draft. I have to agree slightly with Dean since Benjamin is more of a raw project than anything. I'm not saying the young man won't be great or won't contend for awards, but he automatically becomes the man in Car by default. I think Car reached a little when they could have traded back into the middle of the 2nd round and more than likely still gotten him. He got a lot of attention at FSU because of the run they made toward a title. He has average speed and is inconsistent with his play, although he creates matchup nightmares because of his size.

The draft is deep at WR and that's one position you can afford to hold back on this year. For instance, Martavis Bryant is the same height but runs a 4.3. Much smaller in weight, but that's something that can be worked on at the pro level. Not to mention the likes of Robinson and Matthews who did nothing but produce for their universities during their career. Young man might be great, but I'd take my chances on other WR's later in the draft.

Blue... think is you are mentioning guys wha are expected to be there in the late second-seventh round. Since he declared for the draft, the concensus on Benjamin was mid first to early second round. So he got picked where expected. Had Carolina not picked him the odds of him sliding to late 2nd round were slim at best. The things he needs to work on are what actually kept him from being considered top 15, not things that would peg him as a late 2nd to 4th round pick.
