If it happens, It won't be complimentary, of that I'm sure. McNabb has a lot of sour grapes when it comes to the skins and Griffin not wanting to 'take advice' from him is only one of the many disrespects he feels in regards to the skins franchise.

Well Mcnabb is jealous that RGIII can actually throw the football accurately, so why would RGIII take advice from douche bag?

Watching RGIII throw balls at receivers feet I have to think he did heed McNabb's advice.

Regardless, I'd like to thank McNabb for helping us end the playoff drought. Without him, that drought would be at 18 years now and counting.

I liked McNabb in his earlier Philly years. That all began changing very quickly once he started losing his natural speed and had to put more work into his straight up pocket passing game. Does anyone else remember when he got traded to Washington and was told he needed to brush up and work on some of the more basic stuff, but he refused and basically said it was below him, then it was painfully obvious that his coaches were right when he went and stunk it up? I also remember when the Vikings wasted their money on him to come in and start while "mentoring" Christian Ponder, and McNabb was awful and boring as they came, then benched after like 5 or 6 games. He was still a very good QB in his prime, but he is no HOF QB and I lost respect for the clown years before he retired from football.

Im not sure if it was against us, but I remember a game when McNabb was run out of bounds, and he picked up a phone on the sideline and pretended like he was talking and saying "its over". Thought he was a jerk ever since.

I dont think he is a race baiter one bit. Actually, quite the opposite. He gets ripped by Limbaugh and he handled it with class. Then the leader of the Philly chapter of the NAACP called him a sell out for not running anymore and trying to act white. People dumped all of this guy completely unfairly.

BUT, his schtick on other topics is wearing thin. Rips ROmos contract, rips Daltons contract, rips a QB with 2 SB rings, rips Favre (who also has a ring), and now he's ripping Foles because a franchise QB cant run like a "turtle" like Foles does. Maybe he can talk to the other slow runners like P. Manning, Troy Aikmann and see if they agree you have to run like a rabbit to be a franchise QB.

I think he took way too much crap during his career. I also think he handled it all like a man but ever since then all I hear from him is him ripping current players and its getting boring. Along with all that, he was the one who was correct in the TO situation. McNabb was NEVER a team destroyer but TO was. I did also sympathize with TO though. I thought TO had mental disease but I think the current McNabb went from a classy player to a QB who lost his speed and was never able to be accurate and is bitter post retirement.

Doug Williams played from 78-89 and won a Super Bowl. So Donovan was 3 years old when a black QB was doing it "ALL"

Fast forward years later and Donovan suggest that people just did not want a black QB. And that black QB's have to work harder. Was Michael Vick not the most popular player for several years?

Donovan's comments are basically the definition of race baiting and or playing the race card.

opinions will vary on all that but for me, outside of Atlanta, I don't think Vick was ever tops in popularity

Mcnabb has always been a whiney biotch. I guess the 2009 season has made him bitter. Him and theisman would be 1a and 1b on the all time NFC EAST CRYBABY LIST. They are POS losers

:agree:
I think McNabb has issues are more jealousy about QB's contracts vs. racism. Let's see what his remarks are if/when RGIII signs a multi mil deal.
Bingo!! He is jealous of QB's contracts now.

That's not race baiting one iota. It is hard being a black male in America. My buddy is a big time lawyer in Philly and he regularly gets the, "Affirmative Action" crap thrown his way when the truth is he is brilliant. Now put your feet in McNabbs shoes circa 2004. Some ding bat racist comes on the air and says the only reason people think he's good is because they want a black QB to do well. Then, even worse to me, a prominant black male in Philly calls him a sell out and says McNabb is trying to be white. Imagine getting that kind of garbage thrown at you from not only racist wwhites, but also from black males. Bernard Hopkins also called him a sell out too. Nothing worse then getting called a sell out from prominnt black people too. Obviously it is harder to be a black QB in this league. Does Manning get ripped by black people and white people too because of his race? Has any white QB been ripped and called a sell out to his race for the way he plays? I said his new schtick sucks but he has handled himself like a man in the past.

But the dude did sell out my son! Hahaha!

Griffin probably does not want to vomit and throw the ball into the ground like McNubb did.

Easy RG3 hopes to have an equal career with Mcnabb, how soon we forget things. Mcnabb was a beast in his prime and carried some pretty bad offenses for the most part. If RG3 can equal what Mcnabb did there's gonna be a lot of happy Skins fans and many sad Cowboy, Giants and Eagle fans

Do you mean we will all be happy if RG3 has a 13 year ringlets career? If so then I must agree.
