WR Javon McKinley has been charged with battery. From what I understand he arrived on Campus at about 4 AM passed out in his uber and smelled of alcohol, two campus security officers tried to help him to his dorm and he resisted and punched them. Well that could be a scholarship opening up.

Well, that’s 1 way to get to 85 scholarships. Probably not the preferred way.

Too bad. Kid seems like a wasted talent.

If it had been a South Bend cop, he would probably already be gone. But there may some leeway with a campus cop. I seem to recall this kid was highly rated coming out of high school, but hasn’t done much since he broke his leg as a freshman. Hopefully he gets his act together and shows some of the talent that made him so highly rated, whether it is at ND or wherever he might end up.
