Would not have expected a guy in suit and tie as management for an establishment called Hogshead. .....
pictured something more like this;

Funny thing is I would be most comfortable working with guys like that. 'Prima Donna' would not be part of the equation. ;)

Luckily this place is pretty chill
It's not like we share our bank and credit card info.

Sounds like that old joke where the man's wife had her credit card stolen. So they asked the man why he waited so long to report it. He said because the thief was spending less than his wife.

What other MBBRL member do you think is the best message poster? I will go back to CBS days- It would be The Foot. His ranks and posts were so outlandish I could not help but read them. I couldn't use any of the info to help my team but the entertainment value was high- particularly when Foot and Treff would go at it.

Holy shit was that funny..............

Thanks Ritz, damn that was fast. We have a lot in common. We are both 40, both married to a Dana, and you have a 1 and 4 year old and I have a 3 and 5 year old so we probably watch the same TV all day (Mickey Mouse, Vampirina, Paw Patrol etc.) Love the Bo Jackson Techmo bowl answer because that shit it definitely true.

I knew my wife wasn’t going to work this whole time. Making up excuses like nurses work night shifts. Ha we know hospitals close at night.

Name: Christopher

Fantasy Screen Name: Chef99

Why that name? True story: Shaggy was taken when I first joined The Hoop; didn't want Shaggy10246, and of course, Chef was taken, but Chef99 wasn't. I thought that was cool enough, so I took it. Irony is that when the new guard took over, the head guy took the name Shaggy. :heh::heh::heh:

Age: A woman I work with tells me I have a young soul. Works fer me! :)

City and State of Residence: Garland, TX. If you've ever watched Zombieland, the main character in the movie will inform you that "there is no there in Garland, TX.". This is truth.

Time Zone: Twilight

Married or Single: Divorced

Children: None (that I know of).

Occupation (If retired, list your occupation prior to retirement also): Chef (actually Dining Services Coordinator/Director, but I prefer the Chef moniker; doesn't really matter in the end, as long as I get paid).

Work hours: From dusk 'til dawn

When do you post to SportsHoopla: Whenever I can; usually in the wee hours of the morning, or in the evening when I get home from work.

What SportsHoopla boards are you active on? Fantasy Football/Baseball. Used to be big on the general sports boards, but time/lack of interest cut that short. Is Hammer still around?

Who is your favorite NFL team (if you have one)? Vikings. Maybe one day...

How long have you been playing fantasy football? 5, 8, 10 years? Maybe more, maybe less; I dunno anymore.

Why did you start playing fantasy football? For the fun.

What brought you to the MBBRL? Met tlance on the old CBS boards; he brought me into MBBRL Baseball, and he recommended me to the venerable WilWhite for MBBRL Football; I was accepted.

How many MBBRL football leagues are you a member of? Right now, D1, D2, B League Suicide (still Barbarians? I hope so).

How many other fantasy football leagues are you typically in? As of now, that is in limbo; I've got 3 leagues to rejoin, but baseball is upon us. At my high point, I was in 7 or 8 leagues in one season. Too much.

How many leagues did you make the playoffs in and how many did you win? Made the playoffs in a lot of 'em. The only one that counts was being 2016 MBBRL A League Champion.

What’s your favorite thing about fantasy football? Trick question. There's nothing not fun about it. Except when you lose. ;)

On a scale of 1 to 10, rate your ability to talk smack on the message boards? 10. However, in the past, some may have rated that an 11. My goal is to become a calmer, more level headed, mature me. Yep, that's my goal, and I'm stickin' to it. :)

What do you consider your strongest fantasy football attribute? My ability to make a smart trade.

What do you consider your weakest fantasy football attribute? My propensity for making a stupid trade.

What one fantasy player pissed you off the most with their performance last year and it makes you think twice about owning them this year? Dez Bryant; the irony, I think, will be explained later.

Who is the greatest fantasy football player of all time?
Bill Belichick (aka The Genius).

Tell us one funny/amazing/horrible story involving your fantasy football career: This would qualify for the "horrible" category: in MBBRL Barbarians, traded Dez Bryant (Back in the Day Dez Bryant) for Trent Richardson to @Barilko . Worst trade of my life. Barilko went on to advance to A. I didn't.

Hey @Barilko , did I get the story straight? It's been so long, and not exactly one of my fondest memories. :D:D:D
