Sounds good to me. Anybody who can beat Big D in his own league is a welcome addition IMO.

Yes I will be signed up for your league the day the invites go out BigD. Even though it was a fluke for me to win, I learned some things and can't wait to try them out.

Trading starts Saturday in my Keeper leagues (2 teams, different leagues) I have some work to do with the team that I just picked up this year. Keepers as of now- C Santana, Kipnis, Machado, Victorino, Homer Bailey, Kenley Jansen and Shields. Thinking that I am going to try to get younger (3 year contracts). Maybe trade some low round draft picks for Profar and/or Springer. Both look available.

With Yan getting serious consideration at the catcher spot and Machado for third, you might want to shop Santana while his value is high and before a decision is made to move him from the catcher spot.

Thought about this one Jm. Santana still eligible this year at Catcher and my team has so many other holes. But I may reconsider it during our Feb trading period.

hasn't been nailed down quite yet..there is about a week long block in the first couple weeks of March that (I think) has been ruled out, but nothing has been decided yet.

I agree with Jim that now might be the time to deal Santana. I think he has a big year, but if he moves off the C position his value will be crippled.

I also think you should try to deal Shields for a younger arm. He has logged a lot of miles. If you can target a young, less established pitcher like Teheran, Gray, Salazar, Wacha, etc., I think it will help you long term.
