Are you kidding me. :wtf2:
You can't put a roof on that stadium. If you had one, there would be no place for all the pot smoke to go.:hippie: Both teams would suffer a contact high, the hot dog & soda guy:hungry: would have to make multiple trips onto the field:pop2: and there would be a mandatory nap time after the 5th inning.

Although it would make watching games there very entertaining.

Note to self. Based on the above, MUST get to Coors for a game.

Okay, I'm in... I'll need some time to get adapted. ... like, why do I need a title for a reply?

I think the reply and create post thing are just generic for all posts.

I've never tried entering a title when I replied to someone, don't know what would happen (this post will self destruct in 5....4......3...........2........1........... :exploding:

RT, this could be your week to bust out. My slow start in the pitching cats may seal my fate early.

Tell Carlos Quentin to shut his fucking pie hole already .

Reds outfielder Shin-Soo Choo had been hit by more pitches than any player in baseball history through this point in the season and then last night he got plunked again. As of today, he is been hit more himself this year than all other teams have!
Choo has now been hit 10 times in 19 games.

• None of the other 29 teams have been hit by 10 pitches collectively and 13 of the 29 teams have been hit by five or fewer pitches.
• If you remove Choo from their total the other Reds have been hit a combined three times.
• Choo’s career-high is 17 plunkings in 156 games back in 2009.
• Choo has already been hit 10 times, but no other player in baseball has been hit more than four times.
• Last season Prince Fielder, Carlos Quentin, and Kevin Youkilis tied for the MLB lead in hit by pitches … with 17.
Oh, and one more tidbit: He’s yet to charge the mound.

Well, I'm not gonna check the numbers on the league wide steals then vs now-there may not even be a huge difference, maybe there is. But I long for the days of Rickey Henderson and Vince Coleman and their 100+ steals

Hamilton will be fun.

My team is actually off to a good start for the first time this season. What are the odds they keep hitting?

I'll reply when he gets 80 steals.

Then I guess it will be awhile. I say that, as I don't see any # 2 hitter stealing a ton of bags, and that is where Scocia is hitting him at the moment.

Still, I think he is the one guy that has a chance to have a season like Davis'.

Now, for his sake, I hope he does not have an Eric Davis career though. From his first full season at 24, until he was 28, he was really something. Then, he played another 11 very un-spectacular years.

Another "what could have been" guy, who actually "was" for a short time...

he did have another decent season or two after all the crap..even won some come back player of the year awards at one point.
And in all honesty, I'm not sure if anyone steals 80 again for sometime, leadoff, second, wherever. It's just not that type of game anymore. I suppose maybe there's a guy out there that CAN, just not so sure that they will, ya know?
