Holy crap Arenado..... might be best play I've seen this year.
And to think, a year and a half ago he "couldn't stay on 3B". He's a player!
MLB has gone young for sure!

I was thinking the same thing. That was one helluva play.:clap::clap:

This thumbs up thumbs down crap is lame, I feel like I'm on yahoo.:lame:

Gave you a thumbs up for that one Jim...........and I see a thumbs down in my future.
BTW, I want to change my MVP from Beltran to Kendrick...........considering where they were drafted I would say Kendrick has done one hell of a job for me so far.

Ok I tested my theory, it doesn't matter what you predict....I just suck.:L

You have helped me to make my predictions more accurate, however. No matter how much Jim should win by, he will lose. Now I know.

Yow! And you get a thumbs up for a good comeback.

Not that I care even a little bit, but I wanted to point out that the "thumbs ups" that you gave me and Rev were in fact thumbs down. :laugh3:

You must not frequent the comments section on yahoo articles.
Whenever I read a news story on yahoo, I always go down to the comments section (they are usually more interesting than the article itself).
There are always comments on there with a ton of thumbs down with their comments hidden, mostly due to the fact they are stupid, racist and hatful. It is Yahoo's attempt to hide troll comments, the problem is that thumbs down are like fertilizer to trolls.

Unlike Yahoo, you can take back your thumbs up here.

:laugh3:I didn't have my comment on here hidden, I just typed in Comment hidden due to low rating. Show Comment

People on yahoo actually leave "comments hidden due to low rating" as their comment to be funny.

Haha yes I am!!!

But dilemma....and I want to beat the good Reverend :)

Who do I sit?
Myers, Bruce, Puig, Heyward, Stanton, or Jennings?

I have to trade one oh my! Myers HAS to play, so as of now, I'm benching Puig. (6 games and 4 in SD)
Whichever I pick to sit will go off for sure.

Welcome to the weekly Re-Crap for week 11. Each week I will recap the week’s matchups and update the current standings for the masses.
Not much more to say so let’s get to it.

Grand Salami 8 – Fudpuckers 2 (predicted score: Fudpuckers 5 – The Grand Salami 5)
Matt Cain seems to be enjoying his new team, as the Salami’s took 4 of 5 pitching categories. Puckers extra starters help them take strikeouts, but that was about all their staff could muster. As for hitting, Puckers won the battle of the batting average, but The Grand One made every one of their hits count. As a result, The Salami’s took 4 of 5 and solidified their place at the top of the rankings.

Sarnia Tigers 7 – DUB 3 (predicted Score: Sarnia Tigers 6 – DUB 4)
Well Sarnia’s hitters did keep swinging hot bats, and they were able to take 4 out of 5 hitting categories. DUB was left with no choice but to steal the stolen base category. As for Pitching, Sarnia punted saves, and those 2 extra starters were enough to take strikeouts. Sarnia also squeaked out wins but a score of 2-1 and also took the WHIP category. DUB took saves by default and also took ERA with a 4.38. Sarnia is still sitting on top of the world looking down at the league.

D Dude’s Dodgers 7 – WolfPack 3 (predicted Score: D Dude’s Dodgers 7 – Wolfpack 3)
At my request Tlance predicted a Dodgers win, last time I open my mouth. Triple D swept the pitching categories, winning saves & wins by one and K’s by 2. On the hitting side, the Pack to stolen bases, runs & home runs, but there were a lot of solo shots which opened the door for Triple D to take rbi’s along with batting average. One step forward and two steps back for the pack.

Sportsboys 5 – Soggy Bottom Boyz 5 (predicted score: Sportsboys 5 – Soggy Bottom Boyz 4)
In a hard fought battle, the Boyz & Boys battled to a tie. Hitting belonged to the Boyz as they took 4 of 5, leaving HR’s for the Boys. Pitching was just the opposite as the Boys took 4 of 5 here leaving the Boyz to wins saves with just one. If only the Boys had just started Janssen.
Oh well, boys will be boyz.

Big League Chew 6 – WHIP out your FIP 4 (predicted score: WHIP out your FIP 5 – Big League Chew 5)
Big Leagues bats were strong this week as they powered their way to 4 wins. With all those HR’s they didn’t need to worry about running much so FIP took the stolen base category. FIP’s pitchers were El’Fuego this week as they dominated in Wins, ERA & WHIP. Big League was all about the K’s on the outfield wall, and when it came to closing out games his bullpen did their job well.

TKOut 6 – YellowFuzzy 4 (predicted Score: TKOut 5 – YellowFuzzy 3)
The key to this matchup was pitching. TKO had just enough everwhere to take 4 out of 5, and just missed sweeping the pitching categories by .03 points of WHIP. Hitting was close as predicted. Fuzzy took Runs, stolen bases and won a close race for batting average. TKO took home runs and as a result took rbi’s as well.

So with ½ of the season over, the standings are:

1 Sarnia Tigers (Philabuster5) 65-41-4
2 The Grand Salami (Tlance) 61-42-7
3 WHIP out your FIP (Varrys) 57-47-6
4 Soggy Bottom Boys (Chef99) 53-46-11
5 DUB (DUB aka Cheese) 52-54-4
6 Fudpuckers (TREFF) 51-54-5
__________________________________
7 D Dude's Dodgers (bigdmgr) 50-53-7
8 TKOut (TKOSpikes) 52-56-2
9 YellowFuzzy 49-54-7
10 The Sportsboys (Sam Sport Boy) 50-56-4
11 Big League Chew (RamTuff08) 45-60-5
12 WolfPack (Reverend Jim) 40-62-8

The movers and the shakers:
Dub & Fudpuckers flipflop between 5th & 6th, Big D shoots up from 10th to 7th
YellowFuzzy dropped from 7th to 9th , Sportsboys drop from 9th to 10th
