Sounds like you may have Valverde now, and may have had Cain before?

On the right track?

Nope...I have Verlander and Cain. Seeing as how Sam's pitchers have 14 starts I would've much preferred the win. But i'll take the HR. :)

I know we have a "best draft value pick" or some such going somewhere, and it got me thinking. After seeing that Evreth Cabrera stole his 30th bag today, that has to be my best value waiver wire pickup, X 2 teams.

Now, I just hope he does not get "bio-genecided".

Yeah but if my guys keep pitching the way they have been this week you only might need one more win. I had a bad feeling starting Lincy but Holland and Feldman with home starts? Buttholes.

Ah, don't worry. The real Crazy Train has just left the station. So far, one batter - one walk. :bullshit:

Thus far into the season, I think i'd have to pick as my MVP - Hunter Pence. The guy has been nothing but productive since Day One. He's certainly performing a lot better than I expected him to.

Biggest disappointment - Prado. Dude is killin' me. I think he really hates playing for Kirk Gibson.

My MVP would be my Orioles, Mr. Jones and Crush-Crash Davis... with an honorable mention to acquired, JJ Hardy.

Biggest disappointment would be Reyes for getting hurt and Victor Martinez whom you may or may not have heard that I dropped.

Interesting factoid:

Nick Punto
Mark Ellis
Adrian Gonzalez
Jerry Hairston Jr
Juan Uribe
Andre Ethier
Ramon Hernandez
Alex Castellanos

=
200 million dollars!

My MVP might have gone to Iwakuma had I not traded him, but now it goes to Goldschmidt without a doubt. If we could keep one player, he would be it for me.

Biggest disappointment: Where the hell do I start. Middlebrooks, Hanley, Granderson, any player drafted after round 12. But I think that award would have to go to BJ Upton who can't even hit his weight (185 lbs.)

I don't own him but I'm disappointed in Darvish.
7 wins in 13 starts. Pfft.

My MVP:

Adam Wainwright

Biggest Disappointment:

Ike Davis by a landslide. That guy makes Adam Dunn look like Ted Williams.

My MVP- Miggy, not often the #1 pick lives up to the selection but Cabrera sure has.
Honerable Mention to Michael Cuddyer- much better than expected.

Most disappointing- Matt Cain- but I ws able to turn him into Mike Minor.

Miggy has just joined my squad thanks to the bloodletting in my other league, and I find myself really not caring much. All the fun has been taken out of this one. However, that didn't stop me from grabbing Mariano Rivera and Darvish as well. If that's how the rules are set, that's how i'm gonna play it.

Fuzzy, I remember really trashing Cuddyer in our early talks, weeks before we finally traded. And Minor, well I knew he was talented, but I thought Cain would turn around and give me the better value... guess not, now he's swapped (with ARam) for Beltre... I seem to remember regretting a trade with you in one of the football leagues last year, can't put my finger on the names, but I know the feeling was there, wait now Brees and DMC were involved, now it's coming back... ("puts in memory bank for future Fuzzy arrangements - or lack there of") :)

That will teach them Chef. Nice work.

While I didn't trash Cuddyer out loud, I did so mentally when Fuzzy countered a trade and offered him to me in a package with Shields. Definitely did not see Cuddyer doing what he's doing now.

Boy did I shit the bed with Revere/Span this week. Why when I flip flop does it always bite me in the ass, but if I don't, it bites me in the ass! Way too many teeth marks on my ass!

Did you know you can turn off the e-mal option under edit team settings so you don't receive an e-mail every time someone posts something to the message board? I have mine turned off because I get enough e-mail and usually check the message board daily.
Unless you like it on so you can keep up without checking the message board.
