I guess it takes overnight for the VCash to register...thought I screwed up.

Ha! I'm swimming in VBucks! Now if I can just scrape up enough change to get a cup of coffee...:)

I got $500 on Detroit again, another $500 on Cincinnati and a cool Grand on St.Louis. I had $57 left over so I threw it on Houston, just for shits and giggles.

Here's your coffee...I got you the large cup

Ahhh...thanks for the coffee. So, what happens if you lose all your VBucks?

My money league OF is in shambles. Of course I find out Saturday night that Quentin "hurt" his shoulder on Friday night, but he's locked in my lineup this week. So that, and I'm still waiting on Crawford hurts. Ozuna is probably not gonna last the week with me, he was a nice gap filler for a few weeks, but his BABIP is coming back to earth now.

So I'm stuck with moving A-Gon to OF to go with Parra, Morse and the soon-to-be cut (or traded) Ozuna. If Quentin goes on the DL, the waiver wire is not much prettier than Ozuna. My question is...

what would you do with Crawford/Quentin? Take anything you can get? Use them as a "throw-in" with a good player/pitcher to get a very good player/pitcher (if possible -- which I've tried somewhat with no luck)? Or hold tight, wait for their health, then decide whether to trade them (if possible) for a better price or ride them out? In a huge rut -- went 0-fer May and now sit at 8-14 after a 6-2 start... tight league though, as 4th to 10th is only a 3 game difference.

I just had to put 250 on the Spurs tonight (moneyline). The return is too great IMO. Should put 2K but no huevos para mi........

I'd hold on Crawford if you can afford to. Quentin falls into the get what you can/throw in trade category. If you can't get nothing done with Quentin as a throw in, you could move on to Crawford but I would exhaust the Quentin possibilities before going there. You will probably have to take a discount on Crawford, but he is no way a throw in IMO.

I have no chance of being real-rich, so I'm shooting for virtual rich. Sam looks to be more eager than I am.

Why is it that when I have free time there is nobody on here, but when I'm busy everyone is on here.
Nobody wants to play with me I guess.:bawling:

I'm here, for a minute anyway! I went Chisenhall hunting. If I throw him and Middlebrooks against the wall enough times, maybe one will stick. :minion:

I've thrown Chisenhall against the wall many times, and I've got to show for it is a bunch of holes.

Harvey for Braun looking good eh?

Yup Yup

Last year I was hesitant to trade Braun for Wainwright & Lawrie. While Lawire hasn't lived up to his expectations, I'm thrilled with wainwright and am thankful I don't have Braun.
Just think it wasn't just 2 years ago that Braun was king of the mountain, or at least playing second fiddle to Cabrera.

Now that I reflect on it, none of my trades have been exactly stellar so far.

Maybe I should stop...

Nah, what the hell, I gotta get one right sooner or later! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Well my take is not quite yet, at least for me. Look at my options: Shit on the wire, check. Naps, Reynolds,Mauer and Konerko other dudes eligiable at 1B, check. Best player (by far IMO) on the DL, check. Think I'm probably better off keeping him at this point. Who knows, maybe either Tex of Konerko could get hot for me. Really regret dropping Blanks...........think that was a mistake. I know I dropped Moss but was concerned with playing time........that might have been another mistake.

I think Konerko has the best shot of a hot second half (or at least a better second half). He's at the age of regression, but he should be able to do better than what he's done to this point.
Tex=Toast If you have the extra DL spot then why not hold him, but if you've got 3 DL people then I'm sure I can recommend someone better to waste a bench spot on. I'll take a look.

Blanks...yea, that could have been a mistake. I had a claim in on him the second I saw him hit the wire. Maybe it's just a hot streak, but hot streaks are what I'm all about right now (Lind, Quentin, Joyce, Carp).

Moss sits against lefties. The reason I picked him up for the week is because he's gonna play a lot of righties and some stiffs in Texas.

Blanks...yeah that could be a mistake. I also had a claim in for him, but I knew Tlance had him pegged. It was the Morse block all over again. I agree with Rev, Konerko might still have something left in the tank. When Tex said he was gonna be back by May 1st, I thought he was still a good stash, but I dunno anymore...that whole wrist thing. Hey, you can take a chance on Swisher...he might turn it around, but my Boyz need a shaking up.

Yeah, I should have dropped Brantley or just used my DL spot and kept Blanks......also see the value of MI now especially with you guys.............lol! Corner guys seem fairly easy to get if you target old and slow.
