Blanks...yea, that could have been a mistake. I had a claim in on him the second I saw him hit the wire. Maybe it's just a hot streak, but hot streaks are what I'm all about right now (Lind, Quentin, Joyce, Carp).

Yeah, that's why I picked up Rasmus this week.

So Aaron Hill's hand didn't heal right and he needs surgery but he's putting it off.
Should be interesting to see how long he lasts.

I got $500 on Detroit again, another $500 on Cincinnati and a cool Grand on St.Louis. I had $57 left over so I threw it on Houston, just for shits and giggles.

Verlander sucked so there's $500 gone, Latos sucked so there's another $500 gone, Wainwright gave up 4 in the first so it looks like there goes a grand.
Looks like I should have put it all on Houston...........who knew. This is why I don't bet in real life.

would you like to explain this to the rest of the class?

Actually, it was more like Jaso trying to kill him by imprinting his head on Kinsler's chin. He stayed in the game, so I guess he's ok.

So now Philabuster has David Price AND Justin Verlander? :L

For Zimmermann and Erasmo. I have Erasmo in two other leagues, though still likely to miss him here with the RP eligibility. I love Verlander (though not as much as my wife does.....she really does call him Just-In Credible) but as a Tigers fan, I'm a little (LOT) concerned about that contract now.

I feel safer with this trade than I do with the Price/Puig one. No offense Philabuster, but I do kinda wish it was another team I had dealt with...just in case. :)

In any event, good luck the rest of the way, and we'll see what happens!

Kevin Millar can be pretty good at times, but that never ending cackle is annoying as hell. :gaah:

Sonuvabitch...I think Braun is definitely going down this year, along with some others. A few may be able to appeal, but I bet MLB's got somethin' up their sleeve this time. They are acting way too cocky not to, and they can't possibly be as stupid as last time...can they?

Anyway, let's get this over with.

Atta boy Jim! I didn't want to drop Oswalt when I did and he's smokin' 'em tonight! (aside from the Desmond HR) ...and it's only the 3rd! :)

Big 2nd half from Cano and Grandy!

Big 2nd half from Cano and Grandy!

I picked up Oswalt as what the hell lets see what he has left pick, so I had no emotional attachment to him (didn't realize you were the one that dropped him). Granderson, he played a whole 3 games for me and was taking up valuable real-estate on my bench. Cano was the tough call and I could have sat tight, but I wasn't winning with him. I figured if I didn't do something drastic now I may have no shot at a playoff spot in 4 weeks when Granderson returns.

Now I've got Cashner & Lynn to throw at Tlance next week. I know Brown ain't gonna hit 12 every month, but if he can manage half that on a monthly basis I'm good. Seagar is no Cano, but he's top 10 material at 2nd. Hope this pays off for me.
Big 2nd half from.......................well, everyone!

Final line for Oswalt tonight, 5 innings, 9 hits, 4 runs, 11 K's.

Yes, that was a very bold move Rev.
I love that attitude: not winning this way, gotta do something big!
Could work out, I like your thought process.
And at the same time, I'd have done the trade from TKO side. Gotta love Cano!!
A cool trade guys imho.
