Edwin again! I'm not keeping count, and I haven't faced him in the last two weeks, but it seems he hits two bombs a night!
Matt Harvey?
Just copy and paste the YouTube link, then, erase everything from the "=" and before. Then, select the rest, hit the little YouTube box and it'll work. Make sense?I'll never figure out how to post a video
I was pretty pumped about picking up Guerrero today....the move to SS... his insane power numbers and the Dodgers struggles.

And then dumped for Billy Butler
5-6 weeks recovery from plastic surgery killed my enthusiasm.

I can just hear some of the old timers like Teddy Ballgame: "Wtf, it's just an ear! He ain't usin' it to hit!"
I'm rereading Bouton's "Ball Four" after many years, and he mentions one manager (can't remember who it is at the moment) whose motto about injuries was: "If a bone ain't showin', you're in the lineup!". Or something to that effect.
Matt Harvey?
I don't read much anymore, but I did for a time. And, I NEVER re-read books. Except for Ball Four. I think I have read it 4 times. Maybe time for a 5th?
Sad thing is TREFF beat me to him by like 5 minutes.....................he would be one hell of an addition to most of us in August....................

Sandy Alderson is not that much of an idiot to risk Harvey's career and the future of the Mets to pitch him this year in hopes that we capture 4th place.
Or is he...???
I picked up "Ball Four: The Final Pitch" at Half Price Books for a few bucks. It includes updates on what has happened since that season with the Seattle Pilots. Once you get acclimated to some of the out-of-date references (groovy!), it is well worth reading again.
