Always nice to curb stomp the warriors

Before the game I was thinking it would be nice to just beat the daylights out of someone as we seem to keep everything close.

Mavs got great contributions from a number of players but the guy who frustrates me is Powell. He had a great game and he can look like a monster and then disappear for games at a time. Would like to see him produce more often.

Think he's still working himself into shape bc I think he missed the whole preseason

KP is my biggest frustration so far

You are right on KP but Powell has done this in the past as well. The guy is as athletic as they get but he is really inconsistent. Luka is sure getting the props. Nice to see. Our youngest son at Thanksgiving showed me a b-ball autographed by him. He lives across the street from the AAC and has a 10 game package and walks over there and get cheap seats for many other games. He was at a Mavs event and won the ball.

Still think Delon Wright should be playing more, even starting over Hardaway Jr., that's my biggest gripe about Carlisle, his rotation's are maddening and nonsensical at times

Carlisle is a genius at rotating players. Every night a new guy steps up. And Hardaway moving to the starting role was absolutely genius. He's playing lights out right now. I agree Wright needs more minutes, but the system is working right now.

I forgot Kristaps and Luka had played in Spain before being drafted in the NBA, so i was surprised when they both busted out the fluent Spanish in the interviews after the game in Mexico city tonight

tough road trip started last night...glad to see the Mavericks stand toe to toe with the best 3 pt shooting team in the NBA

The Mavs have beaten the Lakers on the road stopping their 10 game winning streak, beat the Bucks on the road giving them their 1st loss at home and snapped an 18 game winning streak and beat the 76ers on the road where they had lost just one game. The last 2 without Luka. Yet they are 8-7 at home and 11-2 away. Crazy. Seems backwards.

Luka being out might force some of these guys to step up and stop relying on Luka, might help the team long term

Haha! His last 2 games have been awful from beyond the arc but his 2 pt FG% has been great. Agree completely. Especially when it is a tight game at the end. He seems to opt for the 3 pointer every time.

Mavericks mix of players is looking good so far, just need to get Powell & JJ healthy and figure out the rotations
