Ok -- what would you like people to say? The Lions are 1-23 with Matthew Stafford as their QB against teams with a winning record. Does that make it any better?

It's the Great Lakes States pinky finger. (I was with my Dad, my cousin and my Grandpa in the TV aisle. It's up there for me too.)

I do find it funny that fans who say he did not lose alone, will also put up threads or speak about his comeback wins as if he suddenly did those alone.

Some like it both ways I guess...

Those don't count because the opponents didn't have winning records...don't you know?

Here's something I noticed funny about that stat. Last year we lost to the Bills who finished 9-7. We got credited with a loss to a winning team. But we beat the Dolphins who finished 8-8...had we lost we would've have been credited with a loss to a winning team but our victory does not count as a win against a winning team. That doesn't seem fair.

I like your QB, for his toughness. At times I almost like the gunslinger in him.

He drives me crazy with his accuracy problems and his lack of touch. Untimely turnovers rank up high also. Those concrete stats from professional site (at least I told once about them and also PFF) involving his RBs was more alarming than I thought they were.

I just figure if fans can point out the lack of pass pro from our beloved Lions, I can point out some Staff's issues. I mean I have to defend the OL from all the bashing they took from Stafford supporters.

Yeah touch isn't his strong suit, its his arm strength. It would be nice to see him with time for some deep routes like the Ginats game last year that was fun.

Honestly it's a mixed bag for me on Stafford. You can clearly see he is talented yet highly inaccurate (which is maddening at times). That is why his record blows against winning teams. Because poor teams will keep giving him chances to win (which he is talented enough to do). However, good teams capitalize on mistakes (INT's and missed 3rd down throws).

I hope he starts to throw underhand more. I like it almost as much as when he throws it high and far with hopes of CJ coming down with it. It's the Finely honed skills I appreciate the most.

But he ain't shit in the DSRL.

Staff is like me when I play basketball; very sporadic and shows some inconsistencies at times. He is nowhere close to being bad to the point he losses them games. Its just that he could be a little better sometimes.
