Who'd have thought Castillo would be the one to pull the Mariners' ass out of the fire? Lol. Bullpen not nearly as reliable as last year, but who could have predicted that? Totally not everyone who posts here or anything.
to me HRS..are the missing ...thing...no one has....tons..but its just now..starting to heat up....................

But there is a difference, both are extremely talented but Kelenic’ issues are mental. Servais finally stood up for JRod which gave him confidence (plus put umpires on notice) and he has done great since. Kelenic’ struggles since has come to the big leagues has always been mental. Which Servais could possibly help but that isn’t him and generally is the role of a veteran. He needs a guy to mentally put him in his place when he gets in his own head.
so basicly a confidence issue..maybe..and some vets could help...prob.....but keep sendig him up.............

not saying grinding it out will...help...but it might..

cant afford ..to lose top guns....or ones that might be..........

3 game series over.

Winning 2 of 3 is a shocker. Could have easily swept them had we not played like the Bad News Bears on Saturday.

Julio is finding his groove and raking. The Mariners need to seriously consider having him bat in the 2 hole and bumping Tyler France to the cleanup spot. Frazier - Julio - Crawford - France should be our top 4 in the line-up. Yea that leaves a bunch of sub .200 hitters at the bottom of the line-up, but hopefully 1-2 of them improve.

Having Skunk head Suarez batting cleanup is a mistake. he simply does not put the ball in play often enough to advance or drive in base runners. I think he needs to be around 6-7 hole. Winker should bat 5 hole behind France.

We can go 3-4 over the TOR - BOS series and still make it home with a .500 road trip. Anything greater than that is a huge plus.

Hopefully HOU cools off some before we play them at home in a couple weeks. They are doing it all right now: great pitching ( both starters and relief ) and offense is scoring plenty.

Not happy with our sub .500 W-L record, especially after the hot start to the season the M's had. Sadly I have limited expectations moving forward unless I see our team batting average climb to a level of respectability. I think our pitching staff is close to par with the league. But we need more solid offense from the bottom half of our line up.

I don't know if I would bring him back up this year unless its for the September call ups. I'm afraid he'll have a good week and will get called back up to fail again. If he is as good as we believe then he should tear the cover off of the ball in AAA and he kinda needs some of that.
