Without question they need to sign good free agents. But sadly the time to do that was in the offseason of 21 and 22. TMobile had a bad rap but 23 and 24 destroyed the chance of Seattle getting a legitimate free agent bat IMO.

Well hopefully he talks to the owners cause the players hate him, it seems like his former best friend doesn’t care for him.

If 2024 is a complete whiff on FA's than that stadium will be a barren wasteland until ownership sells its majority stake to someone who hopefully cares about winning.

Outside of Soto though, who a solid FA that will come to Seattle? Walker I guess but he is going to want the Seattle tax and at his age I don’t think it’s worth it. If he’d come in for like $25/2 then by all means

You give me Walker, Santander and Bregman or 2 of any combo plus bullpen upgrade we might be fine. Over pay for all 3 plus pen help still wouldn't raise our payroll past the top 5 teams. This is last chance for these guys to field a quality team or lose most of the fans and have empty seats.

I totally agree, but we have to live in reality. Unless those guys don’t mind taking a short term deal I can’t see it. Walker and Bregman I would be cool with. Santander, to me, gives me Teo vibes. But he’d be an upgrade so they can trade Randy.
