This is true so reality is bargain basement bullshit and a big FU to the fans once again.I totally agree, but we have to live in reality. Unless those guys don’t mind taking a short term deal I can’t see it. Walker and Bregman I would be cool with. Santander, to me, gives me Teo vibes. But he’d be an upgrade so they can trade Randy.
Santander has pop. In this park his HR's would take a slight dip but many more hits in the gaps is key.Walker would..work.
Santader....
Would not hit well...in T-Mobile...
Just saying..ya know.....like France..
Is better..in a hitter .friendly .park.
To avoid.bregman....
Ill .take..bohm...
lol probably going to be their big signing. They’ve already leaked that Young is going to start in Tacoma basically meaning they won’t be trading for a 2B. At most I think they might trade for Bohmjust getting caught up.
gotta prioritize justin turner amirite
I made this exact same point earlier in the week on twitter. They mentioned him and Santana for the that all important leadership role. I want leadership from the field with a guy knocking in 100 runs a year. That is the leadership they need, but that leadership is more expensive than an old vet on the bench in a part-time role. We already have the Mitch's, that is enough leadership for any bench."verteran leadership" will be the pr push for turner. the reality is that he's cheap.
"he can't be worse than last year" will be the pr push for keeping garver. the reality is that ownership can't bear to just eat $12 million despite garver being a complete waste of space on the roster.
contending team mindset: how do we maximize each roster position even if it hurts to eat salary?
M's mindset: how do we shold onto dogshit and buy more dogshit and sell it as caring about winning?
