I really thought Taylor was going to be the next Dylan Moore. Fast guy who can play multiple positions but shouldn’t ever startHowever, there's two sides to the coin. With Hunt's acquisition comes the designating for assignment of utility player Samad Taylor.
Me too. This surprised me. Maybe he passes through waivers, but it seems odd just to add a 5th catcher you traded already.I really thought Taylor was going to be the next Dylan Moore. Fast guy who can play multiple positions but shouldn’t ever start
It's a good thought. I wonder what the contract says and how much longer it has till it expires.I still say next time the Mariners go to the city of Seattle and King County for stadium upgrades, those two amend the agreement to where the Mariners must have a top 10 payroll in the game or their lease automatically gets a year added on or something like that. Or add an extra property tax on any property within the city that is owned by either the team or any member of an ownership group. Cause it is kind of bs that owners are “tenants” in the stadium but are allowed to buy up property all around the stadium
