Lets not forget this quote from last year "Here it's more relaxed. It's not as intense as New York. In New York, when the game is over, everyone is looking at what's wrong. Here we don't have that." -Robinson Cano

That kinda crap is exactly what is wrong with the Seattle Mariners. winning is not a priority, winning just enough to keep people watching is.

Exactly what I have been saying. Everyone is too happy even in loses. Maybe that is just my view because I was as intense of a player as there was back in the day. Now I am too old and slow so hard to get mad...wait, maybe that is what Cano is going through.

I was hoping Alex Jackson would have a great season in minor league ball. Now I am worried about him a little bit. Bright side is he is very very young.

I still say he is the best looking 'prospect' I have seen in a long time with M's. In spring he looked like the real deal and he is one of the few guys I would say is still going to be big. Hope I am right.

Oh I agree big time. I still have faith he will be successful for the M's. But there is more doubt in my mind right now about him simply because his numbers suck in A ball. I think he is striking out around 30% right now and has an OPS. below .500. No homers also. Tough to look at those numbers and not be a little concerned or discouraged. I think the good thing to remember is that he is young and maybe he himself has gotten a little discouraged and that has hurt his performance. My guess is he will bounce back.

Well shit... that sucks for Alex Jackson. Might also explain the slow start. I wonder if surgery is needed.

Too early to tell, but in a weird way it is good news. Injuries can be fixed unlike just being over-matched. I knew something was up because he just looked to good in spring.

Yea just gotta hope they are handling him properly. Selfishly I'm hoping this means I can get a glimpse of him in Everett but not sure what his plan is.
