Yeah, but we don't exactly have the best attention span in the Majors. The two games since the tirade were nice, like something finally clicked, but we can't expect them to remember it long-term.

Normally I say take player available, but I agree with what you are saying. More high school kids put all our top prospects in the 18-21 range which is 3-5 years away minimum. I would love to see some 24-25 year old top prospects right now.
I couldn’t tell you a single thing about a prospect but there are position players in their draft range that look nice but they are HS. It’s almost like they have to pull a 180 and do college hitters and hs pitchers. This season has been a kick in the balls because outside of Kelenic no one has really taken the next step and they can’t keep moving the goalposts when they can be a WS contender. Especially with Portland in the running for expansion.
No miracles… pretty much what I had expected anyways. Outside the two games where they put up 23 runs.
That’s why I did not get too excited when they put up all those runs in those two games. The team is way too inconsistent.3 hits todays game
