He's finished. He just needs to be released.

According to PFF he is doing fine, though he is not making many plays. coming into this week he was tied for 9th among outside linebackers.

he isn't in the game that much and when he is he isn't blitzing. He is mostly playing the run and he does that well.

Does PFF ever factor in the number of snaps a guy plays? If he's never in the game against three receiver sets, he'll never be in the game.... It's a new type of NFL..... The old base package doesn't see much action for most of our schedule.

The ratings just accumulate over time and snaps. So a higher rating with less snaps is actually better when you divide the total ratings by the total snaps.

But it doesn't do you much good if you only play 1/8 of the game.... I couldn't tell how often he was out there today, but it didn't seem like he was on the field a lot. I get that he's not a coverage linebacker..... But it would be great if they could find some packages for the guy where he could hit a qb.

The problem is who do you take off the field? Johnson? Dunlap? Gilberry?

I suppose it's a good problem to have.... Too many good edge rushers, not enough room on the field. I do wonder though whether Harrison could be servicable enough in coverage to play linebacker in certain nickel sets and potentially rush up the middle. He'd be a bull. Then again, I probably wouldn't fuck with anything we do up front -- It all seems to work well.
