Meh. I'd have no problem with it if he wants to sign a 1 year deal for near the minimum to prove he can still play at a high level, or merely play at all. Staley is not a top flight LT and every other year is good for missing a handful of games. Kicking McNeill's tires couldn't hurt, especially if Boone wants to make a play at the starting RG position.

Edit: I would be against shoehorning McNeill into the lineup by moving Davis to RG. I want Davis learning RT until he *fingers crossed* takes the LT spot from Staley.
