Not to go off-topic, but Bieksa elbows Stajan in the head in the final minute last Saturday night and no response from any Flames player, last night Bieksa dumps Backlund (with a sneaky slew-foot as well) and again no response.

They would not be pleased - Teams used to come into the Saddledome knowing that it would be a tough game and plenty of time spent in the ice bath afterwards, now it's a cake walk. It needs to change.

lol - But seriously, it's something that Feaster and co. better address in the off-season. I'm not advocating bringing in goons, but when somebody is out there taking liberties, it needs to be addressed by somebody on the team.

/I'd hate to see a young guy like MacKinnon getting tossed around and nobody stepping up to put a stop to it.

B's GM Peter Chiarelli says Marchand has a "mild concussion" and the B's will provide an update on his status when appropriate...

At least the B's are willing to use the 'C' word (as compared to the Leas regarding Lupul)

lol - I agree that it is stupid to label them as 'mild' or 'moderate' because nobody truly knows the severity. It's essentially a brain injury and it's serious.
