Took a bad elbow to the head and left the game against the Devils tonight. Announcers all said that it should be a multi game suspension for the Devil. Really though can we Bruins fan get a break? 2 concussion on 2 of our main player in the last week.

Based on reaction, I don't think Volchenkov intended that, but it was high, elbow was out, and it was reckless. Multi-game suspension coming methinks.

Pretty sure he's a repeat offender. He's been totally off his game all season, I fully expect him to be the Devils buyout this summer.

I think it was just a careless play, definitely nothing malicious. That said, who knows how the Wheel of Justice will land.

He is relentlessly physical but not dirty.

Not to go off-topic, but Bieksa elbows Stajan in the head in the final minute last Saturday night and no response from any Flames player, last night Bieksa dumps Backlund (with a sneaky slew-foot as well) and again no response.

lol - But seriously, it's something that Feaster and co. better address in the off-season. I'm not advocating bringing in goons, but when somebody is out there taking liberties, it needs to be addressed by somebody on the team.
