That most recent hit seemed harmless, but he really got sandwiched there. I wonder if switching to full masks would help this. Especially with the type of hit that Savvy just received. It would at least give you some more space between the glass and your noggin. NHL helmets need a good look at too, because even though NFL guys are getting hit more, the overall force is about the same on a hard hit, and the NFL helmets are far and away better (and I still hate their helmets).

Savy was also hit last week by Englund? of the Penguins. Neither that hit nor the Hundwick hit were dirty but I wonder if the combined result had something to do with it like Crosby.
