They fucking won?
Opening a routine press briefing on the first day of the Bruins’ full training camp today at the Garden, GM Peter Chiarelli dropped a bit of a bombshell: Star center Marc Savard is again suffering from post-concussion syndrome symptoms and will not be taking part in camp for the time being.
"In the latter part of the summer he came to us and told us he has been suffering some symptoms relates to post-concussion syndrome," said Chiarelli. "It was later in the summer. He was actually training quite hard for a number of weeks.
"He’s here, he’s being treated, he won’t be skating. He won’t be available to the media. I’ll keep you posted as I learn new news."
Chiarelli added: "He’s in good spirits and anxious to get back. We’re going to be very cautious and take it day by day. He’s a very durable guy. He’s played hurt in the past."
