I remember Brady going for it on 4th down inside the 5 yard line up 37-10 with 1:52 second to go in the game. If that isn't stat padding, I don't know what is.

peyton didn't even play more than three snaps in the final game of the season and he threw 49. On 80 less passes than brady.

The lions thanksgiving game peyton sat out the last quarter and a half of the game...

Patriot fans don't remember this. Manning could have threw 54+ that season.

Also, isn't that the year Manning threw 10+ touchdowns to 3 different guys? Instead of 20+ to one guy?

not to mention brady had one of the best pass protecting olines I have seen in my life that year. A VERY good defense. and Oh yea RANDY MOSS

Peyton had two hall of famers the bulk of his career. Brady had one healthy year with moss.

Not to mention, those Hall of Fames will be because of Manning

Yep. 3 players with 1000+ yards and 10+ TDs.

Brady just threw it up to Randy Moss. 5-10 of those TDs are only because Randy is Randy. No one could get close to touching him that year. That Oline was just fantastic.

Peyton Manning made Austin Collie (the guy the patriots cut and then resigned just now) look like a stud. he has done nothing elsewhere. He made blair white serviceable. He made Dallas Clark and Jacob Tamme look way better than they were. Harrison was just plain average til peyton came about. Reggie wasn't THAT good in 2004, he was still very young. He didn't hit his prime until 2006ish.

Wes Welker?

The guy who Miami used for returns? Faulk and Edge, Harrison and Wayne for his career 4 HOFers. Moss for 1 year and Deion Branch as his best receiver with 4 different OC

Broncos are probably going to have 5 players in double digits for TDs this season. Knowshon has 11 now and DT and and Julius each have 10. Welker sits at 9 and Deck has 7.

Wes Welker?

It shows the disparity in receivers that he's the third guy in Denver and was the prime guy in New England. Wes Welker is bad for a primary weapon.

Says the guy known as CnINSECURITY. :laugh3:

I never thought explaining to CnI why he spent over a decade putting down Brady to prop up his hero would stick so hard in his brain. But as you can see, "inferiority complex" is his favorite phrase. But, with that said, everyone knew CnI to be a copycat so I guess it's no surprise.

I don't think anybody in Denver would say Wes Welker is the 3rd guy in Denver. He maybe is #2 but many could even make the argument that he is already #1. Teams seem to double him way more than Thomas or Decker especially the last say 5 weeks or so. He also has become a huge red zone threat that Peyton loves to use his match up more than the others.

Welker was big in NE and is in Denver.. Missed but glad Edelman has picked up the slack. Amendola is yet to be seen with his injury issues, which we all knew when Pats signed him

Tom Brady set a boat load of records during 2007. If you asked him which he'd prefer - those or another ring - he'd say another ring.

Point: If Peyton doesn't win the SB, this record means squat.
