butt. hurt.
Why couldn't we get some good 9-7 games.
Tense, well pitched games suck.
Not at all but MLB promise me that these games would be so freaking exciting
Astros and Cubs won the season series over their respective opponents. Maybe that will help you settle the issue in your mind. You're starting to win me over on this, BK. No chance you can learn who the better team really is after only 1 game.

Season series. What part are you not getting?
If you mean the regular season, that means nothing. I'm talking about the Wild Card not specifically the Cubs/Pirates this year. 1 game doesn't seem like enough to crown one team better than the other.

'Which team is better?' is your question.
They played 20 times. Cubs won 12. What are you struggling with?

What would that matter? They won the season series 12-8 (assuming that is accurate, I did not look it up myself). Cherry-picking out the games Arietta pitched is just that, cherry-picking.Curious what was the Cubs record in games Jake did not start? He would not have been available in games 2 or 3. I would favor the Pirates in a short best of 3 series where your best pitcher can only pitch once
