Take his vote away. Not only is it stupid to leave off Maddux (and others), his reasoning makes no damn sense. The guy is clearly just being a jackass to make himself feel important. This is why I hate baseball's HOF. I'm glad Deadspin bought a vote this year to prove what a sham it is. Maybe it'll make them change the process.

If a baseball writer feels Maddux isn't unanimous first-ballot HOF, he needs to be removed from participation. Period.
