Haven't seen the original, but I'm a huge fan of Tom Hardy's so I've been following this movie ever since it has gone into productions.

Since trailers have come out I've had some reserved expectations about it. Seemed like a fun action movie to watch...but holy crap 98 % on Rottentomatoes (52 fresh and 1 rotten) so far.

Some critics are calling this the best action movie of the decade. Bold statements there for sure, but I'm excited for this film now if it's gonna be this good.

Anyone else going to see this when it comes out?

I really like the original trilogy. I am not exactly sure how this fits in, though. Is this just a continuation, or a reboot?

I have heard really good things about this one, but I gotta admit, I am not all that excited, but I don't know why.

How does the saying go? "You are suspect" if you haven't seen Mad Max.

The first two movies, Mad Max & The Road Warrior, are classics. Beyond Thunderdome is a decent movie but loses steam half way through.

The vibe I get is that it's a cross between a reboot & a sequel set between The Road Warrior & Beyond Thunderdome. There is a script for the sequel, Furiosa, already set & is just waiting for the box office returns from Fury Road to get the green light for filming.

Great decision, I love the originals and I'll definitely give this a shot when it comes out. It's hard for me to picture anyone except Mel Gibson as Max but he's way too old now.

Noticed an easter egg in the trailer as well - the music box. I wonder if an adult version of that kid who looked up to Max will make an appearance. That alone kind of hypes me up.

Saw it last night pretty gone, I thought it was awesome and just what I was looking for

Non stop action and no sappy love story to ruin the ending. Hardy was ok, he didn't have many lines. I enjoyed charlize therones character. I thought it was better than the Avengers by far and MUCH better than ex machina.

Those critics are.....right on the fuckin money!! This movie was simply badass. I just got home from watching this in 3D. The action never got old or was over done. And the story goes right along with it. I can't remember the last time I was this impressed with an action movie.

Go see it and you will be glad you did. Your excitement will grow as the movie goes on.
