On the opening weekend of college football action in 2014, the Mid America Conference posted a respectable record of 7-4 in out-of-conference games. There was one conference game as well (in which the confrence, oddly enough, went 1-1.) The good news: the conference took no losses to FCS teams. the bad news: Other than the lone conference match up (in which Ohio beat Kent State) the conference notched no wins over FBS teams.Here are the results and the standings:
